Gay marriage and Black community (1733 hits)

The District of Columbia follows in the footsteps of many communities throughout America in recognizing same s*x marriages. Black communities, more specifically, poor Black communities have been targets of the gay agenda for many years, taking advantage of the already weakened family and community units. This article doesn’t flat out tell you what the gay activists’ hidden agenda is, but let’s think about it for a minute.

The gays and lesbians trick you into agreeing that they have suffered the same struggles we and ours have. They are trying to make you believe that they can identify with the civil rights movements. They cunningly make the Godly writings in the Quran and Bible, seem wrong for the righteous. What is it they will do for us? They offer us nothing. Nothing is worth nothing. Do you know what it is they are actually getting from you once they have you sign their petition to get this thing or that thing on the ballot, voted into law? Well, they have a higher number. Their numbers may equal 4000 (I am making that up), but, let’s add the black community, and their numbers go up. Our signatures will make a few hundred pages turn to a few thousand pages. Why aren’t they courting any other groups?

Why? Because we forget. We forgot that 69-year-old Phyllis Burgess was assaulted, shouted at, spit at, and her cross destroyed by homos*xual activists on November 7, 2008.

We are being attacked on all sides and unless we wake up and remember, we will be defeated. We need to recognize the weapons of destruction that are already aimed at us:
• birth control (pills, sterility, etc);
• pestilence (deadly diseases);
• drugs (does it make any sense that most of us have multiple family members on drugs and alcohol?? And they don’t have jobs!!);
• gangs (what are we fighting for? A block of raggedy buildings and we don’t even own a brick!);
• destruction and annihilation of the Black man (do I even have to give examples??)

Until we wipe the film from our eyes, understand (and disseminate) the truth, we will have all kinds of evils beguiling us. We need to remember!

Awesome blog I commend you Sis, look at what is going on with Carrie Prejean...
I have blogged and debated this subject before, I have said that one of the greatest threats to the black community is homos*xuality, it seems like we always tend to take the trends of others and claim as our own from the n-word to daisy dukes...
My applause for your boldness, Sis, keep on doing what you do. Even though Biblically sins will continue to increase, all folk don't have to accept and condone like being a crazed fan on ellen degeneris show... Read Romans Chapter 1 sometimes if you haven't already. Some of them claim to be for god, but the bible says they hate...
Anyway, I can go all day here.
I hate how they try to latch on to civil rights, I say a disgrace and shame. I saw them at a civil rights rally on t.v. before in speaking.
You will notice they never speak out about all those priests who abused boys or any other homos*xual abuses... Against children...
I remember seeing the annual White House Easter Egg Hunt and they showed up, my brother used to work at Walt Disney World, where they have annual celebrations, always around kids. I remember winning a debate at a website and the group that was debating against me sent me their agenda, I posted it at this site.
I posted a blog about up in Cape Cod where they are the majority and attack heteros*xuals calling them "Breeders", this does not make major news...
Anyway, keep on doing what you do Sis, I will never agree, neither will the state of GA...

Mr. Maxwell, as always, thanks for your insight and objectivity.

Irma, you can disagree with a person's lifestyle or disagree with anything about anyone and STILL LOVE that person.

I won't inundate you with rehashing my thoughts on the subject because you are well aware of my stance on it. I just felt it necessary to re-plant that particular seed.

Back to you Mr. Maxwell...I do not agree with nor appreciate gay being equated or paralleled to being black. It's not a so-called 'civil rights' issue-- at least not in the same way as being black. I disagree with homos*xuality for spiritual reasons that you have already outlined, but as I've stated before in another blog, that doesn't equate to hate or homophobia and I will boldly say that anyone who automatically equates disagreeing with the sin as homophobia or hatred towards gay people is not thinking with a balanced scale. Disagreeing with something and recognizing that it's wrong is also not judgment. That's a word that gets thrown around with any focused perspective these days. ...which brings me to my next point:

What I haven't said before is that what I find interesting is the Bible (not me) but the Bible is clear about the sin that is homos*xuality. ...just as it is about the sin that is fornication, adultery, lying, stealing, drunkenness, hating and a gambit of other sins.

So why is it that everyone else's sin can be called sin but homos*xuality is somehow off limits to be called to the carpet? If a person lies, I can call him/her wrong. If a person steals, I can do the same. If a person murders another person, I can call it what it is...WRONG...and for each of things, I will get no argument, no backlash, no accusations of discrimination or phobia. But the SECOND homos*xuality is called what it is...sin...so many come unglued and start hurling those adjectives that absolutely equate to judgment: homophobe, bigot, hater, etc..

To be clear, as the Word advises, I hate the sin but absolutely love the sinnER. Why? Because I, too, have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. I do not throw stones. None of us can book Heaven or hell for anyone, but it's a biblical precept and mandate to call wrong what it is...in love, of course. Just as I have to repent for my sins daily and see God for myself, so does any other sinner, including the homos*xual.

Blessings...

My problem with the blanket disagreement with Gay, marriage and all that goes with this issue is that it is fits too hand in hand with the meaning of ignorance. As a race we almost to the person reject the you are worthy only, "IF" ;now after the if put in every word that you do not want to be called jby that member of the KKK who knows only that your skin is not the color of his and this is a sin before GOD!!!! (oh this all comes from the Bible talking about HAM)just because you wear the lable of being a Black person!

"IF" that gay person is not MY: mother, father, brother, sister and diffently not my C-H-I-L-D!!!!!!!!I will love and respect them as a member of the human race and due the same civil rights as myself....

Brother William (I practice the Catholic faith faithly for 48 years so i believe I qualify to answer your question on the child s*x issue)As for the Catholic s*xual abuse this could be done for so long because of the lable of Preist /Heavely F-A-T-H-E-R!!!!!!!You know the person that you and your friends and parents,ect. go to an confess all of you sins. This can not ever be revealed and if you are the one who tells this just like the preist who tells of his s*x with a child, ALL partys have do do a penance(like say so many prayers, (mush like doing your time in prison for the wrong you did to break the law)then you get paroled to say another parish(church)to SIN no more!!!! Me, I believe that doing this is much m ore human to the child than their parents punish them for lying on "Father" because he could never do such a thing!!!!

but, my favorite one is a person being you close friend for years then you learn he is gay when he she comes out an TELL the TRUTH.You now this is the same person who taught you in school, took care of your children and worked everyday, frug free and crime free ,but you can not accept these facts and qualities as a part of that person...O-N-L-Y after you have decided this person is gay.

I would rather see a child in a loving home being safe and secure than in a house that is run down ,no food, ect. because him mother in in prison becuse she had made up her mind that the children's father would not beat her up one more time as sh e comes home from work to him drunk again and hs nevr held a job past 2 weeks!!!!!!

Me, I must accept the person wo not only respects themselves and others and treat their children as human and not punching bags or s*x objects because they do not prefer make children over the female child...or rape over all because he is straight!!!!!Hell no ,but then i am just this way. If one earns my respect they get my respect no matter if they are white and I truely hate 991/2% of people with white skin!!!!!!!The 1/2 present that I can love and respect and treat as my equal it the part where I believe tha tGod made mankind in his(or her)image and said, "This is good"
