Watching again. This speech didn't flow like before, a whole lot of hesitation. Something is seriously up.

where are these 30,000 additional troops (new troops who were never before in this fight) coming from? High school? Prisons? The crib?

As an American I applaud the President for his position as Commander in Chief of determining the best American course after his thorough evaluation of the concerns of The greatest military and diplomatic minds in the SouthEastAsia theatre.

As an offspring of an American soldier I would ask that the numerical concerns of Generals/Admirals in the War zones about troops be addressed by a military draft---the draft has served our Armed Forces well since the Civil War through the Vietnamese Conflict.

To the financial nay sayers I would be willing to pay more taxes to fund this national security concern of The United States of America.

Let us All support The Commander in Chief President Baraka Hussein Obama

It doesn't sound like the campaign promises he made to start withdrawals. I'm thinking if all our soldiers are sent elsewhere, who will be here to defend us from a country that thinks our best trained defenders are away overseas. The question is "how many other countries are supplying their military support?

The military offers JOB (part time in the Reserves)security and (free)medical health care for the whole family..it offers many benefits for those who retire or are honorably discharged from the military and for their family... a jump start on owning a home, financial help for formal education amonge many other benefits...a person going in at age 18 can retire at 38 years old.(smile)

THIS IS THE OTHER SIDE OF THE MILITARY, AND WHY MANY CHOOSE TO BECOME A PART OF IT...

..and to my sister Leah X, the draft just as any other law, if it can not suit the interest of the soical majority(at that given time in our history) it can not be enforced/must be changed...this is why we have a Supreme Court which is ammending and changing our constitution almost all of the time in many cases that is challenged by the individual/state, local violations of said law on any given matter/situation, oganization, ect.

Remember the call for CHANGE, by our president?!? and, open, honest minds as yours are what he is calling for...so please keep demanding that your questions be heard, and taken seriously by our government and our community leaders and those like you and those who are talking about this on the net...O.K. PLEASE.(smile)
