Been away for a while, glad to see Jamaal kept things riled up on here

Just read most of the blogs/comments about the Black church and its effects in the Black community. While I certainly agree with most of Jamaal's rationale, to take it a step further, I just returned from IHOP after playing tennis this Sunday morning. There I noticed a trend. Every person dressed in church clothing was Black. Let me re-type that slowly ... EVERY PERSON DRESSED IN CHURCH CLOTHING WAS BLACK. What does that have to say or do with this topic?

I have constant conversations with many folks and the one thing that saddens me the most is how gullible Blacks are, believe without questioning. MOST Whites don't believe b/c it's in the Hole-y Bible. And they gave it to you. But intelligent, free thinkers realize that a collection of books that were written before we had the technology and evolution of advancement to verify such unbelievable claims must not be taken too seriously. It's stupidly arrogant to believe in a book that has talking animals, wizards, witches, demons, sticks turning into snakes, food falling from the sky, people walking on water, and all sorts of magical, absurd and primitive stories, and you say that non-believers are the ones that need help?

Jamaal at least has some REAL answers to the ills of the Black community, but everyone attacked the brother for presenting them. Forums like these are great but also too often reveal our level of gullibility and/or ignorance.

It's 2010. Our Black neighborhoods look like it's still 1974. Which is why Jamaal had to leave so his 'stuff' wouldn't get taken. LOL

Brother Jamal,

Are you contemplating leaving the family?! I hope not brother because I love to read your blogs.

little jamal has already left the world of AlIslaam, and no nation in Africa would even think of working with a guy who believes elijah muhammad is alive and on a motherShip of 'blackGods' unseen to modern science orbiting over Japan; any African nation with a Muslim population would ask to have little abraham confined to a mental or physcial hospital or receive capital punishment.

only under laws of freedom of speech enforced by the fbiCia would his ideas be permitted.

Actually, practically all the African countries are showing interest in speaking with an experienced engineer from America. What they are not interested in is another American preacher, minister or old fool coming to them about useless jargon or irrelevant conjecture.

Jen, we are in the earliest stages of deployment, in particular in the administration efforts necessary on the American side of the displacement. Estimate it to take about 10 years for actual project engagement on the African side of the project. Some of my family plan to be part of this effort and others will be remaining behind with a "wait and look" approach.

Craig, as "I" am black and because my practice is N. D. Buddhism( president J.F.K said it was a legal RELIGION IN AMERICA)...

AND, CRAIG 'AND ONLY' BECAUSE, YOU USED The 'WORD ' A-L-L, and because we only go to our "church" on the first sunday of each month...are you positive that some of those dressed in their Sunday best were not in reality Black N. D. Buddhist?!? (SMILE)

but, then if you already know that many, many Buddhist religions call there place of worship "church" ( N.D. B. call theirs a Community Centers) then "I" stand corrected. looooooooooooooooooooooooooool

GREAT TO SEE YOU BACK THOUGH MY BROTHER (smile)
