Dave Chappelle: Black White Supremacy

· Thursday, August 5th 2010 at 3:26PM · 1633 views
Don't know if you all have ever seen this or are fans of Dave Chappelle, but this sketch about the blind black racist hits on all cylinders. If there was ever any doubt, here Chappelle established his status as comedic genius with this sketch on racism. Its hilarious, but it also points up some of the ironies with respect to race.

I'm posting it here because, in light of recent events, seemed appropriate.

This is LOL funny!!!

Clark.... Dayum... Dayum... It's just like some black folks... surround them selves in middle class white suburbia with their child's lily white schools... and white friends and neighbors.... BUT still are blind and cannot see that they are just what white supremacy see's them as black n.... Sad...

But the video was funny azz hell..... Luv it!!!

@ Brother Clark,
Leave it to Dave to push the envelope. When I watched the clip, I thought about how much work there is to be done to reconcile Black and White people on both sides of the race issue.

@ Sister Cynthia,
I for one have lived in both all Black, in predominantly White, and now I live in a multiethnic neighborhood. I personally like to live anywhere I can walk the streets without fear of being mugged, shot, stared at, or watched as if I don't belong. If you catch my drift. Personally I like living around immigrants. They seem to be the best neighbors I've had.

Clark:

Man, this was DEEP!

He said it was the wildest thing he has ever done--and it was.

A blind black white supremcist who was fed and taught to hate by the white people around him. He was blind and he didn't know any better.

He believed the crap he was taught--and others thought he was a fool.

I love how every written text that appeared in the piece was BACKWARD!

That is the definition of IRONY!!! I thought it was brilliant satire.

One of the ideas he mocked was how hatred is taught. It doesn't come naturally. He had no reason to hate black people--none at all. Except it was reinforced in him.

I can see how this would be a parable explaing the same ass kissing character in Spike Lee's masterpiece BAMBOOZLED.

BRILLIANT!!!
