Artist and Philosopher, Okpara Nosakhere, will be speaking at Bruce R. Watkins Cultural Center. His lecture/workshop will be on “The Making of a Culture”. The audience will explore how cultures are created and examine the diversity in values. Participants will learn how influential nature plays a role in determining our character and personality. The lecture will lead to an open discussion about the American culture and what is needed for the benefit of communities, schools and Kansas City, MO.
The lecture was originally scheduled for Saturday, July 9. The new date is Saturday, July 16, 2011.
