How Did The Bible Get Here
I can see a Brother shepherd sitting on a rock around sunset in the desert in the still of the night, overlooking the campfire. Now remember, he had no blazing radio on, no TV playing in the background, no computer on stand-by breaking in from time to time, shouting “YOU GOT MAIL,” no cell phones ringing, , no Jets piercing the night skies just silence, nobody but him and the creator.
Words from the psalmist wrote “Be still, and know that I am YAH / God” (ps. 46:02).In the tranquility of the night that Brother Shepherd met The Great Shepherd YAH. He was called from leading a few sheep, to leading the larger flock of Yah’s people by way of a burning bush.
In the solitude gives wings to all of the stories he heard from the Elders of his tribe, Egyptian scholars and YAH himself from the stories of Adam and Eve, from Cain and Abel from Noah, the flood and his three sons, from Abraham, Isaac, Jacob. That all these memories was inspiration of the divine spirit that someday would be instrumental from YAH in preserving these stories for generations to come.
That Brothers mind went back throughout all of his lifetime, remembering those great stories which comprise of the first five books of The Holy Bible and guess who that Brother was?
