We stopped at Genesis 39 Chapter 7 And it came to pass after these things, that his master's wife cast her eyes upon Joseph; and she said, Lie with me.
She was meaning business, she was not hiding anything, it was clear that she wanted some of Joseph. She was straight up, Lie with me.
8 But he refused, and said unto his master's wife, Behold, my master wotteth not what is with me in the house, and he hath committed all that he hath to my hand;
Joseph tried, telling his masters wife, look, your husband trust me. He has put all his business in my hands, how can I lie with you? You would think, that would stop her advancements, let’s see.
9 There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God? 10 And it came to pass, as she spake to Joseph day by day, that he hearkened not unto her, to lie by her, or to be with her.
Now this woman was on him every day, to do this! Now Joseph would not go there Brothers and Sisters. See, true servants of God The Most High, has red lines in their life, which they will not cross.
11 And it came to pass about this time, that Joseph went into the house to do his business; and there was none of the men of the house there within. 12 And she caught him by his garment, saying, Lie with me: and he left his garment in her hand, and fled, and got him out.
Now she grab his clothing, she thinks that she got him now but Joseph got away from her, naked and all. Now, what did she do? Since I can’t have him. Let’s see.
16 And she laid up his garment by her, until his lord came home. 17 And she spake unto him according to these words, saying, The Hebrew servant, which thou hast brought unto us, came in unto me to mock me:
Now isn’t that something, how many times have this happen to Israelites Brothers and Sisters? How many times have this happen in this country? How many people was hung and castrated in this country because the master’s wife or somebodies wife, wanted you to do something by you being a slave and you was too scared to do anything. That means, you got a problem. So, what did she say, he mock me!
18 And it came to pass, as I lifted up my voice and cried, that he left his garment with me, and fled out. 19 And it came to pass, when his master heard the words of his wife, which she spake unto him, saying, After this manner did thy servant to me; that his wrath was kindled. Isn’t that something? S
he lied on Joseph saying he came on to me and I screamed and he ran and left has garment. Now the Potiphar knew that the Lord was with him and has hold house was blessed because Joseph was in his house. But what happen? Which, he have questioned it not one time.
20 And Joseph's master took him, and put him into the prison, a place where the king's prisoners were bound: and he was there in the prison.
Now, she had him put in prison Brothers and Sisters. Joseph was there in the prison and, the man who ran the prison saw how the Lord was with Joseph and he bless Joseph and made Joseph a trustee, and made him head of the whole prison.
Meantime there was two inmates in there that pharaoh put in jail and they had dreams. Joseph interpreted their dreams. Now these dreams came out just like Joseph said. Meantime, one was getting out of jail, so when you get out, remember me to the pharaoh, I am a Hebrew, I did nothing. I have been locked up for nothing, remember me. Let us see what happen, now this man have been out for two years and did not mentioned Joseph. Now when it became convenient, he remembered Joseph. Lets go to Genesis 41.
41 1. And it came to pass at the end of two full years, that Pharaoh dreamed: and, behold, he stood by the river. Now this man has been out of jail for two years and that brother said that he will remember Joseph. OK! Who will remember Israel? Two full years and Pharaoh had a dream.
2 And, behold, there came up out of the river seven well favoured kine and fatfleshed; and they fed in a meadow.
These are cows if anyone asks.
3 And, behold, seven other kine came up after them out of the river, ill favoured and leanfleshed; and stood by the other kine upon the brink of the river.
Now some real fat cows come up out of the river and then some real thin, sickly looking cows came out of the river.
4 And the ill favoured and leanfleshed kine did eat up the seven well favoured and fat kine. So Pharaoh awoke.
Now in Pharaoh’s dream, some real fat and robust cows came up out of the river and then some real thin, sickly and puny cows came up out of the same river, what happen?

When Pharaoh sees these real thin, sick and puny cows eat up the healthy cows, Pharaoh wakes up! Now Pharaoh wanted someone to interpret this dream. He called in all of his people, all of his wise men and they could not do it, They could not tell pharaoh anything about his dream..
8 And it came to pass in the morning that his spirit was troubled; and he sent and called for all the magicians of Egypt, and all the wise men thereof: and Pharaoh told them his dream; but there was none that could interpret them unto Pharaoh.
See, this is the thing Sisters and Brothers and this is what is wrong with the world right now! The Lord still have his people Israel, even though you are in captivity, you are still his pick. This is a state of FACTS. Since 70 A.D. when the first of us went off into captivity, the world have been steeped in paganism. Paganism, have changed the Lords Sabbath Day from the seventh to the first day of the week. The Lord said that he is going to set The Kingdom on earth and you say, you are going up to Heaven. Jesus said four times that all that have died in him, that he will give them Eternal life and the dead will not be raised up until the last days and you got the dead, in heaven, two minutes after death going up to heaven. Everything you call Holy, is wrong according to The Holy Bible. I am going to tell you like it is. If you got thin skin, you showed up in the wrong house.
So Pharaoh called up all his boys, now let’s see what happened.
9 Then spake the chief butler unto Pharaoh, saying, I do remember my faults this day:
Two full years have passed, now the chief butler remember his faults, why now? Because it is profitable to him now. He probably forgot about Joseph but how he is going to make points with the Pharaoh. Now he rememberhis faults.
10 Pharaoh was wroth with his servants, and put me in ward in the captain of the guard's house, both me and the chief baker:
11 And we dreamed a dream in one night, I and he; we dreamed each man according to the interpretation of his dream.
12 And there was there with us a young man, an Hebrew, servant to the captain of the guard; and we told him, and he interpreted to us our dreams; to each man according to his dream he did interpret
So this young Hebrew, he interpret our dreams. 13 And it came to pass, as he interpreted to us, so it was; me he restored unto mine office, and him he hanged. It all came to pass.
He said, he told us that you would restore me back to office and that you was going to hang the other guy.
14 Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon: and he shaved himself, and changed his raiment, and came in unto Pharaoh.
You know the Egyptians never did like hair and the only difference between the Egyptians and the Hebrews was not the skin color but The Hebrew had face and head hair. On the Egyptians, you might see a little plat of hair on the chin but The Egyptians did not like hair. Now if you don’t do any history reading, you don’t know that neither.
5 And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I have dreamed a dream, and there is none that can interpret it: and I have heard say of thee, that thou canst understand a dream to interpret it.
16 And Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, It is not in me: God shall give Pharaoh an answer of peace.
See, this is the whole thing that people don’t understand, all of this is from the LORD. This Bible is from the Lord. The proof is in the Bible. The Bible has been in our people’s homes for generations and we have not seen this FACT.
Let skip down to verse 29, Behold, there come seven years of great plenty throughout all the land of Egypt: 30 And there shall arise after them seven years of famine;
Now Joseph is interpreting this dream. Seven years of good harvest, everything is going to grow. Everything that is planted is going to grow tripled fold. And all the plenty shall be forgotten in the land of Egypt; and the famine shall consume the land; after that there will be seven years of famine. So, Joseph gave the Pharaoh some advice.
33 Now therefore let Pharaoh look out a man discreet and wise, and set him over the land of Egypt.
As you see that this highly develop culture which is Egypt had to be advised by a Hebrew Israelite.
34 Let Pharaoh do this, and let him appoint officers over the land, and take up the fifth part of the land of Egypt in the seven plenteous years.
Joseph instituted taxation in Egypt. Joseph did that! So let them take up the fifth part of the land and put it everywhere else and take it up and store it up.
35 And let them gather all the food of those good years that come, and lay up corn under the hand of Pharaoh, and let them keep food in the cities.
36 And that food shall be for store to the land against the seven years of famine, which shall be in the land of Egypt; that the land perish not through the famine.
The Lord was with Joseph and gave him this plan. This man was in jail and he still got that plan.
That mean Joseph had faith in God and could think on his feet. So, what did Pharaoh say to Joseph.
39 Thou shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than thou. said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath shewed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou art: 40 Thou shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than thou.
He said you will be over my house, you will rule over everybody and everything, the only one that will be over you will be me Pharaoh Ruler over all Egypt.
41 And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt.
This is a pretty big promotion for a man that was sold into slavery and just got out of jail. He said that I have set you over all of the land of Egypt.
Let me stop here for a moment because once again I got a little longwinded when I have the opportunity to TEACH AND SHARE.
