Last time on “Let Us Tell Are Real Black History we discussed,” Joseph was sold by his own brothers to the Ishmaelite’s “ARABS”, at the age of seventeen and how his own brothers did not recognize Joseph as a 37 or 38 year old man, head of the Egyptian government only under the Pharaoh, not because of skin color but because of customs, facial hair. The Hebrews wore facial Hair and the Egyptians did not Brothers and Sisters.
Also, we ask the question if the Hebrews came from the EDOMITES, why would Pharaoh put his sworn enemy and slaves, second in command of all Egypt. Also, his brothers would have recognized him being a white man, head of a black nation, but this did not take place.
Let us pick up where Joseph when through a lot more changes with them, he finally cut out the pretending. Let us pick this back up in Genesis 45 verse 1. Now remember, Joseph have ten brothers in front of him and they all think that he is the official head of the Egyptian Government. So, that means that they had to be the same color.
Genesis 45 Then Joseph could not refrain himself before all them that stood by him; and he cried, Cause every man to go out from me. And there stood no man with him, while Joseph made himself known unto his brethren.
Joseph play it out, as long as he could until his emotions got the best of him and then he started to cry. Joseph told the Egyptians to get out of here because he did not want them to see him cry because he was their boss, you understand.
2 And he wept aloud: and the Egyptians and the house of Pharaoh heard.
Joseph was really whaling, he was so loud that everybody heard him. Out of all that he went through, Joseph still loved them because they was still his brothers.
3 And Joseph said unto his brethren, I am Joseph; doth my father yet live? And his brethren could not answer him; for they were troubled at his presence.
Now you know that, this had to be something to hear these words come from the second in command of all Egypt, “I am Joseph, is my father still alive?” could you imagine the look on their faces, all ten of them. What the! What in the world, What is going on here! I am sure, they thought that they was in trouble big time.
4 And Joseph said unto his brethren, Come near to me, I pray you. And they came near. And he said, I am Joseph your brother, whom ye sold into Egypt.
Now!!! That had to be something, wouldn’t it? A complete surprise to all ten of them. “I am Joseph, is Daddy still living?” How could this be Joseph, we sold him as a slave and now he is over all the land in Egypt. I am sure that they could not believe it, and as they looked longer and harder, I am sure that they could not believe it. Until one of them said: “Yea, that’s Joseph alright!!!!” Now if he was a different color, they would have known long time ago, that there was something going on, but NO!!! NO!!! Same color.
See people don’t understand, when the Greeks looked upon the Mizraimites, they said, these people are BLACK. The BLACK word in Greek is Egypt! Now many of us don’t know that! Because, we don’t read. Like when they look upon the Ku****e’s, they said that these people had burnt faces from which the word Aithiopia came from came Ethiopia, they named or renamed the ancient lands was according to skin color. That is just more proof for you to look up. Now some of us don’t know, we don’t bother to investigate. Now when you investigate something like this and bring out the message, people go, “You think you are something, don’t you?” The proof is there for all to see it.
5 Now therefore be not grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that ye sold me hither: for God did send me before you to preserve life.
Joseph said unto his brothers, don’t fault yourselves because all of this was The Most High’s doing. He is the one who sent us here to save life. See, this is what people don’t understand, we are not in America and was put into slavery because someone else was stronger than us. Joseph was not sold to the Ishmaelite’s because they needed money, we are here according to the Most High planned, this to happen. As we continue on are journey in this life was planned to happen, if not to us but someone close to us, to open up our eyes Brothers and Sisters. Not every other thing but everything.
So, Joseph said to his brothers that God sent me here to save life.
9 Haste ye, and go up to my father, and say unto him, Thus saith thy son Joseph, God hath made me lord of all Egypt: come down unto me, tarry not:
He knows, That the Lord made him landlord over the land. Not anything that he did but it was The Lord. Now that is something good for all of us to understand. It is nothing about what who we are or how intelligent we are or how much money we have. When the Lord puts his plan into play, that means it is his will be done.
So, Joseph wanted his brothers to go back and tell their father that he was OK. That he is the landlord over all Egypt and I want you to bring Daddy here to me.
28 And Israel said, It is enough; Joseph my son is yet alive: I will go and see him before I die. So, Israel it Jacob Brothers and Sisters because the Lord changed his name and we will go into that, the next time we meet on “Let Us Tell Are Real Black History continues.”
