Al Jazeera America has picked up the award-winning documentary to air in February 2016.

LevelK has announced that "Motley’s Law," a documentary that investigates the justice system and human rights situation in post-war Afghanistan, will premiere in the United States in February 2016 on Al Jazeera America (AJAM). The story follows Kimberley Motley, who leaves her husband and three children at home in America in order to work as a defense lawyer in Kabul.

Motley is the first and only foreign lawyer licensed to litigate in the Afghan courts. For over seven years, she has stayed in Kabul and fought against corruption and human rights abuses. "Motley’s Law" recounts her experiences amid personal threats and national instability, which are making it harder and harder for her to stay in Afghanistan.
