I'll try to answer your question Ron. On background checks. I live in Pennsylvania where background checks are required. I'm fine with that, and if the people of California, Indiana and the other 33 states want to require background checks I'm fine with that. I don't want a Federal law for it, that's all. As far as the Mayor, I was speaking specifically about his statement that the jihadi had nothing to do with Islam. His mother has said that he is a devout Muslim, and the report is that he made hajj in 2011. He told the cops he was acting in support of ISIS.
