Veterans' group to Trump: Where's the money?

Trump claimed to have raised $6 million for veterans groups, but when confronted about the real fundraising total, the Republican nominee ignored the video evidence and said that he never claimed that $6 million was raised.
Trump skipped the Fox News debate in Iowa shortly before the first-in-the-nation presidential contest because of a grudge against one of the moderators, Megyn Kelly.
The candidate's campaign claimed that they raised $5 million for veterans, with Trump contributing $1 million of his own money in the process.
An attorney for Donald Trump said Tuesday that money raised for veterans has been "distributed to worthy causes" as he defended the campaign from reports it was unable to account for all the funds promised to charities.
But then there's this: in 2008, while trying to pump up sales of his Trump vodka, the vodka company said it would donate sales proceeds to the Walter Reed society, supporting programs at the Walter Reed Military Hospital.
Trump's campaign has said the remainder of the donations would be given out by Memorial Day.
CNN, meanwhile, reported last night that when it comes to the candidate's support for veterans' groups, there have been "discrepancies between the amount of money Trump touts, and the amount actually donated".
Back in March, CNN investigated the issue in-depth, airing a report questioning how much had been raised and how it had been allocated by the Donald Trump campaign.
