Trump Misfires on Debate Claim

People will watch the NFL live and the debates on replay. Do you think that's a good thing Ron, to discourage the voters' involvement?

I never want to discourage anyone from voters getting involved in this process.

I also believe that the was no plotting to schedule two of three presidential debates on nights with NFL football games in order to limit viewership and the schedule of the debates was scheduled long before we knew who was going to be in them.

Could this be Trump's sad attempt to back out from these debates?

Ron, do you really think they had no openings on any Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday night?!!!

Excuse me, they did manage to put the last one on a Wednesday. Now Ron, you know as well as I do that in the Fall, Sundays and Mondays are football days. So why would these idiots schedule a general election Presidential debate on one of those days. Answer: because the are not idiots, but they think we are. In many cases they are correct.

Now people are trying to spin this like "they didn't know who the candidates would be when they set the schedule." They may not have known who the Republican would be, but it's obvious they knew who the Democrat would be.

There was collusion on all levels. The super-delegates, Obama, the DNC, the FBI, the Justice Department, and the FEC.

Bush and Michael Dukakis campaigns secretly agreed to a "memorandum of understanding" that would decide which candidates could participate in the debates, which individuals would be panelists (and therefore able to ask questions), and the height of the podiums. The League rejected the demands and released a statement saying that they were withdrawing support for the debates because "the demands of the two campaign organizations would perpetrate a fraud on the American voter."[9]

On NBC’s “Meet the Press” on July 31, Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort bemoaned the debate conflicts with NFL games and said, “But we’re not going to fall ploy to … the Hillary Clinton ploy that she did against Bernie Sanders of trying to have the lowest viewing audience. We want the biggest.”

He trying to play all this off on the Hillary Clinton campaign, which they know is a LIE.
