Trump Paid Off Attorney General To Drop Trump U Fraud Investigation

Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi solicited political money from Donald Trump right before she was about to investigate Trump University. She dropped the investigation and is now endorsing Trump. Cenk Uygur, host of The Young Turks, breaks it down. Tell us what you think in the comment section below.

"Florida’s Republican attorney general, Pam Bondi, personally asked Donald Trump for a campaign contribution before dropping out of a lawsuit charging Trump University with fraud, the New Civil Rights Movement reports.

Bondi asked for the contribution before publicly announcing she would join a New York state suit against Trump U. Four days later, she received a check from Trump’s foundation. Bondi subsequently announced she was no longer suing Trump, citing insufficient grounds to proceed.

The check was in the amount of $25,000, and the donation was in violation of rules governing political activities by charities.”*

Where can I find that announcement Ron?

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Wednesday, September 7th 2016 at 10:28AM

According to The Associated Press, That The Florida’s Republican attorney general, Pam Bondi, personally solicited Donald Trump around the some time her office deliberate joining an investigation of alleged FRAUD at Trump University and it's affiliates.

Do you understand why that would be deeply problematic?

Don't you see the connection, A Republican attorney general in a state where the Replication president has a case of fraud before her?

Pay to PLAY...

I'd like to see this public announcement that she was joining the suit. It doesn't exist.

Florida attorney general dropped Trump U fraud suit right after GOP candidate gave her $25,000

That means that Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi was on the case to prosecute Trump according to RAW STORY investigators.

Now check this out Steven. Trump Claims He Never Spoke to Florida Attorney General, Doesn’t Actually Know How to Buy Politicians.

Now I am sure you remember this QUOTE from the Donald: During the primary debates, Donald Trump repeatedly boasted that he knows how to get politicians to do his bidding, explaining that he donated to both Republicans and Democrats, just in case he needed a favor. “You know what? When I need something from them, two years later, three years later, I call them, and they are there for me,” he said. “And that’s a broken system.”

Yet, now that Trump is facing questions about whether his improper $25,000 donation to a group connected to Florida attorney general Pam Bondi prompted her to drop a potential fraud investigation against Trump University, he’s suggesting that he wasn’t actually very good at working the system — contradicting Bondi herself.
In June, Bondi’s spokesperson, Marc Reichelderfer, told the Associated Press that she personally asked Trump for a donation to her reelection effort “several weeks” before her office said it was considering opening a fraud investigation into Trump University.

“The process took at least several weeks, from the time they spoke to the time they received the contribution,” Reichelderfer said. After the pro-Bondi group, And Justice for All, received a check from the Donald J. Trump Foundation, her office said it would not sue Trump. (Trump paid the IRS a $2,500 penalty this year for violating laws that prohibit charities from making political donations, and failing to properly disclose the donation.)

This is what a pathological lyres do. If you want to back up a man like this, it is your right.

What I want is to see is Bondi's public announcement.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Wednesday, September 7th 2016 at 8:26PM

What do you mean, Steven?

Steve Williams Thursday, September 8th 2016 at 8:28AM

Your "source" said that Bondi made a public announcement that she was joining the lawsuit against Trump University. I'm saying that's not true.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Thursday, September 8th 2016 at 9:47AM

Florida AG asked Trump for donation before nixing fraud case http://bigstory.ap.org/article/e16a8223c24...

YOUR WORD: I'm saying that's not true.

Where is your proof, to why you believe that this story is not true?

Steve Williams Thursday, September 8th 2016 at 3:04PM

Simple Ron. Show me the public announcement that Bondi was joining the suit.

Steve Williams Thursday, September 8th 2016 at 3:06PM

YOUR WORDS Ron:

Bondi asked for the contribution before publicly announcing she would join a New York state suit against Trump U.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Thursday, September 8th 2016 at 5:32PM

Steve Williams Friday, September 9th 2016 at 12:34AM

"Bondi's office publicly announced she was considering joining a New York state probe of Trump University's activities..."

Do you see the difference Ron?

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Friday, September 9th 2016 at 12:56AM

No!!! I don't see the difference Steven. Show me the difference, can you do that, on your next reply?

Steve Williams Friday, September 9th 2016 at 1:03AM

Raw Story said she publicly announced she would join the suit. The AP said her office announced she was "considering" joining the suit. If you told your wife you were considering buying a car, would it be different than if you came home and announced you had bought a new car?

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Friday, September 9th 2016 at 9:52AM

Let me ask you this and bring it more closer to home for you. If you had a office, with your name on it: "Steve Williams Law Firm " Who gets to run that office, you or an associate or a some secretary?"

Try and answer that question for me, OK!!!

Steve Williams Friday, September 9th 2016 at 2:40PM

Bondi apparently isn’t responding to media inquiries, but her office referred the AP to Marc Reichelderfer, a political consultant who worked for her re-election effort, who said Bondi wasn’t aware of the consumer complaints her office had received about “Trump U” when she reached out to Trump for the improper contribution. He added that the appeal for campaign cash came before her office considered investigating the so-called “school.”

The mean that the buck stops with Bondi and she is in hiding from her own greed. WOW!!!

AT What length will people go to protect this scammer and mess over the middle and lower classes of people?

Steve Williams Saturday, September 10th 2016 at 1:29AM

There's no evidence of wrongdoing by Trump. That's the reason she didn't join the suit.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Saturday, September 10th 2016 at 9:01AM

It is called "Pay To PLAY" Steven. The oligarchs would have you thinking that We the people are equal, when they have money as speech on that specks louder than all of the Middle and lower classes of people combined.

Steven, It is called "Pay To PLAY". It is just that simple.

Steve Williams Saturday, September 10th 2016 at 10:06AM

Ron, there is no evidence of wrongdoing by Trump in regards to Trump University. That's why Bondi didn't join the suit.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Sunday, September 11th 2016 at 4:20PM

Steven, it looks bad for Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi for dropping the case against Trump because Pam Bondi had the trust of the people in her hands and she sold it for little or nothing and damn the people she is suppose to serve.

It looks bad for Trump because he knew that he was playing her in the game of "PAY TO PLAY!!!"

He knew that he would come out cheaper by paying a $2500.00 fine, then paying the people that was scammed out of there monies that would have totaled in the Hundreds of Millions.

This is how it works.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Sunday, September 11th 2016 at 7:55PM

There is more to this story and it maybe coming at a bad time for Trump in the polls. This story looks like a classic case Of bribery 101.

I will keep my eye on this hot story.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Tuesday, September 13th 2016 at 5:51PM

Before I go STEVEN, do you have at more to add to this story?

Steve Williams Tuesday, September 13th 2016 at 10:57PM

Only that I still want to know how the supposed bribe got from the PAC to Bondi.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Thursday, September 15th 2016 at 5:07PM

Trump did it... That is PAY TO PLAY. Remember Trump got BUSTED and had to paid a fine for his actions.

Steve Williams Thursday, September 15th 2016 at 7:05PM

Trump made a donation to the PAC. Who paid Bondi from the PAC?

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Thursday, September 15th 2016 at 7:51PM

You got to be kidding me!!!

Steve Williams Friday, September 16th 2016 at 10:49AM

Do you know what a PAC is Ron? Did you look at the link I gave showing how the funds were distributed?

Steve Williams Friday, September 16th 2016 at 10:50AM
