What Jobs have The Affordable Care Act Killed?
The affordable care act is not a regulation that controls businesses.
The affordable care act is the law to provide health benefits for people who can't afford to pay for health.
As we speak there are 6 million United States citizens who have healthcare insurance that did not have health care insurance prior to the affordable care act was signed into law, 6 million people.
And you want to stop that?
I never wanted it in the first place Ron.
It's unconstitutional at it's core.
The good thing is you don't have too. Unconstitutional, it is the law of the land pass by Congress and signed into law by the president of United States. WOW!!!
The reason it's a failure is because it's unconstitutional.
Proof it...
The law requires insurers to accept all applicants, cover a specific list of conditions and charge the same rates regardless of pre-existing conditions or s*x.[3]
This is what's unconstitutional, and this is what's caused it to fail.
The affordable care act was never found unconstitutional, even after the Republican control senate tried to over turn that signed law for over 60 tries and all of them failed.
How about Social Security, is that unconstitutional too?
Social Security is a tax. The Constitution gives Congress the power to tax. It DOES NOT give Congress the power to mandate contracts between private parties.
It is also a safety net that insures private American citizens the right to fall back on to the federal Government for relief in the time of need and a primary economical support at 62. This program should not be privatized or outsourced to the Bankster's or Wallstreet, never.
