It does NOT SAY the carrier would go to that station by the most direct route, NOR that it would head there immediately, NOR that it would not complete the scheduled exercises on the way. Those were all merely assumptions made by the press. Even Joe this morning said the story is a big nothing burger.

I haven't served in the military Ron, as you well know, but I would not expect THIS commander-in-chief to reveal the course OR schedule of the USS Carl Vinson. And based on the self-sabotage of Kim's latest launch, I assess the President's strategy to be EFFECTIVE.

What I saw was reports saying that North Korean president was not deterred by what TRUMP said about SENDING A ARMADA, he went right on ahead to lunch his missiles testing anyway to find out that test failed at the Launchpad.

I told you in advance what would happen. Kim had to save face and at the same time avoid an unwinnable escalation. He made SURE his test failed. He probably fired off something experimental that he knew would fail. In a war of wits, Trump will prevail and Kim will lose. You should be PROUD of your commander-in-chief.
