Brothers and Sisters, you can ask yourself this question, what is a family? A family consists for both Mother and Father and children living together in a household as the Father being the head of that house. Words come to mind like ancestry · parentage · pedigree · genealogy · background · family tree · descent · lineage · bloodline · blood · extraction · stock · forebears · forefathers · antecedents · roots · origins · heritage · dual heritage. Many of our people was raised in a house whole with a strong Black Man as the head of the family and the boys was expected to carry on family tradition.

As a family our Mothers and Fathers went to Church and was raised knowing that God is the creator of all things including man and through his word, we our as people, apart of his plan, and by knowing this, we are to hear his words and follow his commandments and we will also know, who we are and who's we are as a people.

I know that many people have many ways to define that term "FAMILY" and what is a Father but I would be remised if I don't include this main ingredient and that word is "LOVE'.

Brothers and Sisters this word "LOVE" I believe is the most important part of what kept us together, strong, out of trouble with the Law, that maked us leaders, teachers, Trainers, and I can go on and on and on.

Now that I 'am the elders father now, I understand that I was saved by God for a reason and that is the show our children the LOVE that was given to us by our ancestors to be past down to our descendants, this is just one of the greatest task of a Father in the greater bond called the family but remember Brothers and Sisters,, we can't have a healthy Family, if we are trying to do this important task of rising a family by ourselves.
