How did Conor Lamb win in a conservative Pennsylvania district?
03/14/18 05:13PM

Cook Political Report’s Dave Wasserman says “Conor Lamb was a uniquely strong candidate,” in PA-18 and with Pennsylvania’s redistricting, Lamb “might be in Congress for a while.”

What do you mean "He didn’t"?

I mean he didn’t win. The votes are still being tallied.

Democrat Conor Lamb is the apparent winner of a House seat in Pennsylvania 'and Trump and his boy, helped out a lot.

It’s funny that MSNBC was up all night Tuesday, breathlessly awaiting the results, and two days later they still don’t know. The best part is that since the PA Democrats are trying to redraw the districts, none of it matters anyway. 😂

Even the president knows who won that House seat in Pennsylvania, now that is funny you bring that up.

Trump broke his silence on the election at a private fundraiser for Missouri Senate candidate Josh Hawley Wednesday night, telling a crowd of donors that Lamb had run “a pretty smart race, actually,” according to an audio recording of the remarks obtained by The Atlantic. Democrat Conor Lamb defeated Republican Rick Saccone in a district Trump won by nearly 20 points in 2016.

Just ask Ray Moore did he win because he is still holding out and have not conceded his loss yet!!!

It looks like Republicans are like that, yes, they are.

With that said, here's another Breaking News on this subject:

James Lamb is an American attorney, former federal prosecutor, major in the United States Marine Corps Reserve, and the U.S. Representative-elect from Pennsylvania's 18th congressional district. A Democrat, he won the 2018 special congressional election in Pennsylvania's 18th congressional district, held on March 13, 2018. With all absentee ballots counted, Lamb led his Republican opponent, Rick Saccone, by 627 votes, and Lamb and the Democratic Party declared victory. Both NBC News and The New York Times called the race for Lamb. However, a recount is expected. Occurring outside of normal election schedules, the special election attracted national attention.

Recount or recanvass petitions

After the counties finish their computation, possibly by Friday, the candidates then have five days to file for a recount or a recanvass at one of the four Courts of Common Pleas. They can get a recount of the whole district or just one of the 70 "divisions" or precincts. If they want a recount of certain divisions only, then they have to present specific reasons for the recount and the judge decides.

Contested election

This would be a bigger challenge, like alleging fraud or mistake, and could be made within 20 days of the March 13 election.

Tuesday, March 20th

The county boards submit unofficial returns to the secretary of the Commonwealth by 5 p.m. The boards will have a meeting, during which objections could be raised.

Monday, April 2nd

Official results are to be reported to the secretary of state for certification by this date. But experts said it could get pushed back if there are recounts.

Nothing prevents the canvassing boards from delivering the results to the secretary of state earlier than April 2, but that is the deadline for them to do so. What happens in Pennsylvania could be similar to the results in the Alabama U.S. Senate special election last year, where the results weren't officially certified until Dec. 28 even though the election took place on Dec. 12.

P.S. PA District 18 is not a national election. It means nothing to anyone outside of the district. Whoever wins, they will represent the people of District 18 and no one else.

So, that makes Democrat Conor Lamb the apparent winner of a House seat in Pennsylvania don't it?

Your Reply: Maybe to you Ron, not to me.

What's the matter now Steve, you don't believe your president NOW?

YOUR WORDS: Why do you care anyway?

Because I see people that voted for Trump are now waking up to the LIES of this administration and I want to share the good news, that is the reason why I care.

One seat at a time Steve, that is how it's done in a Democracy.

Friday, March 16th 2018 at 11:07AM
Dea. Ron Gray Sr.
That’s how it’s done in partisan politics Ron, which has nothing to do with democracy.

America is a duopoly not a democracy.

Modern American politics, in particular the electoral college system has been described as duopolistic since the Republican and Democratic parties have dominated and framed policy debate as well as the public discourse on matters of national concern for about a century and a half. Third Parties have encountered various blocks in getting onto ballots at different levels of government as well as other electoral obstacles, such as denial of access to general election debates.

Democracy is a system of government by which the whole population or ad least all the eligible members can freely vote for our representatives. This is the power of One seat at a time Steve.

Under Democracy which is a form of government which also drafted the constitution of The United States of America which gives power to the people to make decisions for the betterment of the country.

We need to fight and stay together so we as a nation can continue to maintain our way of life and stay free.

American democracy died in darkness long ago Ron, and people like you are making sure it stays dead.
Friday, March 16th 2018 at 2:54PM

Steve, Democracy is not dead yet. Just look at this recent election, the people spoke in this case against supporting the Trump agenda. This is what I mean by One seat at a time.

People power, this is great way to live life as a country.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr.
The people in this case chose who they wanted to represent them, an awful Democrat or an awful Republican. There is no democracy in that Ron. Those people and all Americans need real candidates not a fake Democrat-Republican illusional “choice”.

Now that is funny. Before the election, the Republican candidate was trumps pick. Now after that very same man lost the election all of a sudden he is that awful Republicans.

Thanks for that one.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr.
The Republican candidate was Trump’s pick. So what Ron? There are many things I differ with Trump on and “I” think that Saccone was an awful candidate.
Friday, March 16th 2018 at 9:24PM
Steve Williams
I am still finding this hilarious that you and people like you would throw Republican Party candidate Saccone, under the bus because he lost his race in a heavily Republican, Trump controlled precinct.

This is the power of One seat at a time Steve.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr.
What the hell are you talking about Ron, I threw Saccone under the bus? YOU are the one with a vested interest NOT “I” you moron.
Saturday, March 17th 2018 at 2:42PM
Steve Williams
It was you who called Saccone the republican Candidate, after he lost the race, an awful Republican. That is what I am talking about FuFu...

Saturday, March 17th 2018 at 8:02PM
Dea. Ron Gray Sr.
I’ve never said anything in support of Saccone so I could not have “thrown him under the bus”. You only IMAGINED I supported him because you think I’m as dumb as you, to think this race was some kind of “referendum”. Your delusion Ron, not mine.

Saturday, March 17th 2018 at 8:32PM
Steve Williams
That was Trump's pick and you support Trump, don't you?

Now you are trying to tell me that you know what I am thinking! You need to run for president Steve.

Saturday, March 17th 2018 at 9:32PM
Dea. Ron Gray Sr.
Of course I support Trump. He can pick whom he wants and I can choose to not give a damn about his pick.

P.S. I know what you’re thinking because you think Lamb won when he hasn’t.

Right!!!!!!!! That is what you think or do you have some inside information that the Republicans plan to steal this election?

I have PUBLIC information Ron. Do you understand it is the question.
