Martin Luther King Jr. Day 2020 in Portland: Where to celebrate, what’s open, what’s closed

As the nation celebrates slain human rights leader the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., Oregon and Washington will host events to commemorate Martin Luther King Jr. Day and federal and state offices will be closed for the holiday. Here’s a list of community activities held to honor King in the Portland area, followed by a guide to what’s open and closed for in the Portland area.
