Now let of take a look definition of the word "DISINFECTANT":

I think he was asking the doctors about possible agents to clear the body of the Wuhan infection. I think he meant by disinfect:
"cleanse from infection, destroy the germs or disease in," 1590s, perhaps from French désinfecter (16c.), or formed in English from dis- + infect. Related: Disinfected; disinfecting.
