Arradondo, the highest-profile witness yet to testify for the prosecution, went over page after page of his police force's policies on use-of-force, de-escalation and best practices, some of which he personally wrote. Prosecutor Steve Schleicher asked Arradondo if he would describe the force Chauvin used on Floyd on May 25, 2020, as proper and according to the training of Minneapolis police officers. "I absolutely do not agree with that," Arradondo answered. "That action is not de-escalation and when we talk about the framework of our sanctity of life and when we talk about the principles and values that we have that action goes contrary to what we're taught." Arradondo said he drew his conclusions based on police body-camera, surveillance and bystander video he reviewed in the hours after Floyd was pronounced dead. After being shown a photo, described as "Exhibit 17," of Chauvin digging his knee into Floyd's neck for 9 minutes and 29 seconds while the handcuffed 46-year-old Black man was prone on the ground with two other officers holding him down, the chief said the tactic was not the type of "conscious neck restraint" his officers have been trained to use. He said Floyd did not appear to be a threat to the officers or other citizens during the incident, and added that Floyd should have never been arrested for the minor offense of trying to buy a pack of cigarettes with a phony $20 bill, which is a misdemeanor.

After today I'm more certain than ever, all four officers should have been tried together. Could it be Arradondo is just a typical politician who opportunistically went after the low-hanging fruit, i.e. Chauvin? This case should have been tried from the beginning, starting with Lane, who caused the situation to immediately ESCALATE.

That is your opinion and you are welcome to it.
Steve, the focus here is why George Floyd died in Police custody. You saw evidence of X- Police Officer Derek Chauvin kneeing on the back of Floyd's neck while George Floyd was face down in the street, handcuffed behind his back and you saw Chauvin standard of care for a person in his custody.
No Steve, This Judge is on the correct path to discovery in this case.
George Floyd had stop moving and Chauvin still had his knee on the back of George Floyd's neck.

This case is a mess Ron. The judge this morning was deciding what to do with Morries Hall. Morries Hall will be pleading the FIFTH, because he is exposed to a 3rd degree murder charge himself. Just because Chauvin was the last in a chain of fatal errors, he is no more guilty than the originator of theses events, Morries Hall. Just watch the tape from Cup Foods and you'll see this skank's operation. They were passing fake $20s so they could get real money to pay for drugs.

You have to start with Lane banging on Floyd's window and pulling his weapon. That was the first violation of policy and then they all violated their policy many more times, ending with Chauvin. If the judge would not have been in a rush, they could have waited until summer and tried them all then.

It all started with "Morries" Hall, the drug dealer who won't testify because he himself is subject to a murder charge. All 4 officers violated MPD policies and they are not excused, but George Floyd died from the effects of drugs he voluntarily ingested. That's why he was paranoid and violent and ignored the sage exhortation of Charles McMillan that "YOU CAN'T WIN!" Man, you can't win.

"Morries" is "NOT" on trial for the Murder of George Floyd, this X- Police Officer Derek Chauvin is on trial for the MURDER of George Floyd. This X Cop Derek Chauvin escalated a misdemeanor case, into the execution of George Floyd, Steve and that is what all this is about.
All of X- Police Officer Derek Chauvin trainers and superiors all say that that this Excessive Force was NOT needed once George Floyd stopped moving but this THUG still was applying that deadly force 3 minutes after Floyd stop moving. I guess Derek Chauvin was making sure that Floyd won't be pulling that trick, again... Right Steve?
