The jihadists Ron. Ben Rhodes is an idiot. He's talking about a name, Trump and I are talking about the Afghani FOLKS. You and your trivial, childish, "fact" checks.

Stop trying to LIE for TRUMP Steve. You have the nerve to LIE to my face about Trump was talking about the jihadists, when you can clearly hear him say The Taliban.

So STOP LYING Steve, trying that weak as attempt to cover for TRUMP actions.

Wait a minute, do you actually believe what you say?

Ron, what's the difference between the Taliban, the Mujahideen, and the Jihadists?

Taliban

a fundamentalist Muslim movement whose militia took control of much of Afghanistan from early 1995, and in 1996 took Kabul and set up a radical Islamic state. The movement was forcibly removed from power by the US and its allies after the September 11, 2001, attacks.

The Mujahideen

Mujahideen, Arabic mujāhidūn, members of a number of guerrilla groups operating in Afghanistan during the Afghan War (1979–92) that opposed the invading Soviet forces and eventually toppled the Afghan communist government.

The Jihadists

What does the name djihadi mean?

The name Jihad is of Arabic origin. The meaning of Jihad is "struggle, holy war". Jihad is generally used as a boy's name. It consists of 5 letters and 2 syllables and is pronounced Ji-had

What does Jidda mean?

The noun JIDDA has 1 sense: 1. port city in western Saudi Arabia on the Red Sea; near Mecca Meaning: Port city in western Saudi Arabia on the Red Sea; near Mecca Classified under: Nouns denoting spatial position Synonyms: Jed'dah; Jeddah; Jidda; Jiddah Instance hypernyms:

Do you see the difference NOW?

The Taliban emerged in 1994 as one of the prominent factions in the Afghan Civil War[64] and largely consisted of students (talib) from the Pashtun areas of eastern and southern Afghanistan who had been educated in traditional Islamic schools, and fought during the Soviet–Afghan War.[65][9][10][66]

So you see Ron, before they were called the Taliban they were the Mujahideen.

Steve, I asked The World Wide Web and according to this search, it doesn’t Match your definition at all.

What does Taliban mean? English meaning of the militant group’s name explained – and how it started
The word Taliban means ‘students’ or ‘seekers’ in Pashto, one of the two official languages of Afghanistan https://inews.co.uk/news/world/taliban-mea...

You are mixing the truth in this case. The word Taliban is Pashto, طالبان ṭālibān, meaning "students", the plural of ṭālib.
Now Steve, where did you find this: "students of Islam?”

Friday, August 20th 2021 at 1:01PM
Dea. Ron Gray Sr.
That's what they are students of Ron. Islam. Look again.

Friday, August 20th 2021 at 2:12PM

I gave this to you Ron, hot off the web. Do you see what they are STUDENTS OF?

The Taliban emerged in 1994 as one of the prominent factions in the Afghan Civil War[64] and largely consisted of students (talib) from the Pashtun areas of eastern and southern Afghanistan who had been educated in traditional Islamic schools, and fought during the Soviet–Afghan War.[65][9][10][66]

Taliban means student period. The key word is “Taliban” and not what they had Study. Steve that was not the definition and wrong for you to add to your meaning to the word “Taliban.”

Friday, August 20th 2021 at 7:42PM
Dea. Ron Gray Sr.
I accurately said what they are Ron. Your definition is meaningless.
The country of Afghanistan is terrified of THE STUDENTS! Really?
The Mujahideen, the Students of Islam. That's who the Taliban are.

You have to add to the meaning of Taliban that was "NOT" the original meaning of the word and you can't tell me why?

Do you see what The Taliban means in the native tongue of Pashto? It means exactly what it means. Taliban means STUDENTS and nothing more. Steve, do you understand that?

The conquest of Balkh in 708–9 marked the beginning of the Umayyad caliphate’s control over the lands that are today Afghanistan.¹ Some of the people of Afghanistan rebelled against the new Damascus-based overlords. Others joined the militias that in 749 enabled the rival ‘Abbasid caliphs to take over from the Umayyads. By the ninth century, the city of Balkh was being canonized as the Dome of Islam and its Muslim intellectuals memorialized as saints with sanctuaries deeply intertwined with the Islamic identity of their city of burial. How could the Islamic caliphate become so firmly embedded in classical and...
