The Mummy: Should Have Stayed In His Tomb! (790 hits)

I went to the midnight showing this morning to see "The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emporer), expecting a tale a intrigue, wonderful fight scenes, great special effects and a deep, rich story line. What I got was a farce.
Please don't waste your money. While there were a few fun fight scenes the writing and acting (except for Jet Li and Michelle Yeoh) were horrible and the storyline, which had so much promise and potential ended up being cartoonish (a bunch of old bones facing off against a fierce army made of clay).
Corny is all I can. I left before the end.
I see why Rachel Weisz (the original wife in the first two) took a pass on this one.

I love awful movies...is it Gigli awful or just lukewarm awful, i.e., Under the Cherry Moon? ;0)

No...Gigli would be a step up...it's just insultingly bad...bad dialogue, bad premises, bad acting...just plain bad...and I liked under the Cherry Moon.
