But Commandments fall out the sky (and snakes talk...and entire oceans spread apart...and everyone dies in a flood....and every life form on the planet fits on one boat...you know....that stuff used to happen all the time)

Curly, I know they try to put the dumbest people on TV to make us look bad. There were so many beautiful, intelligent, accomplished black women to sit in that seat from Crytal Anthony, an attorney and author, to Lola Ogunaike, a CNN correspondent and New York Times writer, to Lori Stokes, a news anchor from New York..and this is the best they could do. They replaced Rosie with Whoopi, a comedian for a comedian and they replace Star Jones, an accomplished attorney, whether you liked her or not, with Ms. Shepherd? Are you serious?!

Ms. Hunter: I completely agree with you. What is even more relevant to me here is the fervor of her point of view, which seems to the issue for many 'believers' in black America. The blind acceptance of ideology without any contemplation for authenticity or for that matter practicality.

Corey: "Words were also written by man, lets not be gulible..." You said a mouthful there! Which ironically enough is the very center of my issue with religion to begin with. Thanks.

My God is a thinking, strong, can withstand challenge and examination king of God. There is no excuse for ignorance.

Unfortunately for me (I guess) my god doesn't want me to believe anything that another man or woman has stated as absolute truth about him/her/it. So I have been relegated to a life of questions without answers. I'm hoping that maybe one day before I die, god or some representative of my creator will enlighten me on what is to be expected after I take my final breath here. Until then I have to go off the fact that whoever created me put a chip in my brain that will not allow me to compute fairy tales and legends as truth and has instructed me to not believe anything that someone who is 'living' says about 'death'.

Corey: I agree with you 100%. I guess I'm not gonna get you to answer the questions though. I give up. Peace.

I wouldn't use Sherri Sheperd as the representative of all Christians, just as I would use Li'l Wayne as the representative of all black men.
