My name is Anthony Stewart. When it comes to being a sole source, One Stop Shop for Graphic Design, Website Development, Video Production, I AM THAT GUY. When it comes to coming up with bold ideas for developing your business through technology, I AM THAT GUY. When it comes to helping you bridge the Digital Divide, I AM THAT GUY! When it comes to inventing or implementing technology to spread positive information that will uplift people, I AM THAT GUY! And, my life has been a living witness to that statement.
I’ve always known that I AM THAT GUY, but hesitated to say it out loud. Why? Because of course society says that would be too arrogant. And, “Anthony, what if you make a mistake and fail at what you’re trying to accomplish? People will laugh and not have confidence in you anymore.” Ever heard anything similar to that? Ever have that thought stray through your mind? Ever let that thought develop into an actual fear of failure? If a challenge in life seems too difficult to overcome and you feel yourself about to shriek or run from that difficulty then say, “Wait! I am that guy!” or “I am that Woman!” “I am the one to overcome this obstacle and I will not stop until either the obstacle is overcome or I am rendered unconscious! If I am knocked out, when I awake, I’m coming right back at that obstacle as if nothing else in life exists!”
I say the above because you are only as great as the tasks you face and overcome! Half your success is in accepting the challenge and facing the difficulty. Though it may seem impossible and everybody is running in the opposite direction and telling you to run, in the instance you stand firm and steel yourself against the fear that is overcoming you, half of your success is achieved! If you do not face the difficulty your very character will start to deteriorate! You will become less of the man or woman you were before the challenge arrived.
The other half of your success starts to come as soon as you take your first step towards overcoming that difficulty. And, it increases exponentially as you take even more steps. Once that difficulty is overcome, you will graduate to the next level or challenge in life. Like most graduations, there will be a time of peace and reward, but that will soon come to an end as life brings to you the next stage in your destined evolution toward achieving more success.
Now there are tools you need to have for success. There are requirements that must be met. First KNOW that you are BY NATURE designed to evolve into the image and likeness of God. So you have to start with the end IN MIND. What is the end result? What does the image and likeness of God look like? Where can you go to find the attributes and character of God? Nearly every scripture in the world speaks to the attributes and characteristics of Him/Her. Study them, put them IN MIND. Internalize them so that you start to become them. I am not talking about God flying or changing the direction the earth rotates. I mean attitude, confidence, character and taking on the Mind of God toward life’s difficulties.
Is God that Guy? Is God that Woman? Is God that Force or Power that will not fail? Then I must begin with that end Mindset internalized. I have to move as though that is REAL right now!
My name is Anthony Stewart and I AM THAT GUY! I am the best at what I DO. No one can teach digital technology like me. No one can design media like me. I really have no competition because they do not see these subjects with the same perspectives as I do. They do not see the service that I provide or product I sell as I do. They don’t have the focus or commitment I do. I AM THAT GUY FOR THIS CHALLENGE.
Lastly, you do not need God to pay a bill. I repeat, you do not need God to pay a bill! You can pay a bill with a job. You can pay a bill by standing on the street corner with a bucket. But for what seems to be the Impossible, you need God. If I decide to build a 30,000 sq ft Black Books Library with nothing but classic titles from Black authors the world over. If I decided to have in that library a state of the art computer information system and network with individual work stations for people to use to browse the web, design graphics, print, scan or fax documents. If I decide to have paintings on the ceilings and throughout of great Black leaders, kings and queens of the past and artifacts from ancient Egypt, If I decide to have it open 24/7 in at least 10 major urban areas and finally, privately funded with no government or corporate dollars, then I might need God. Why? Because unfortunately, that doesn’t even exist as a possible reality in the minds of most.
Look to do that which is uniquely for you. It’s only for you to do it. But to do it, you have to be THAT GUY or THAT WOMAN.
