Today Was A Good Day

I was suppose to go to an Orientation at the college I've signed up to, but somehow found myself not ready for it, with it starting in fifteen minutes. But, that was earlier this morning. I sort of am a morning person. but I just move slow.

Before leaving the condo, I learned how to brew coffee with a coffee machine! I've been going to Starbucks more often lately, and have fallen in love with their White Chocolate Mochas. I was anxious in tasting some coffee this morning, and creating it to taste how I want it.

Soon after, my Mom and I drove to my Grandmother's house, we all went to Sonic, ate our food, and watched TV. My Grandmother chose Sonic because she told us, their onion rings are great; and I was craving some.

Mom and I went back to our new place to find some mail. I thought it would be for me, since my Dad was late on sending my Christmas gift for last year. But it was for my mom. Later today, we received our mailbox from the previous owners. So, I was able to get my gift from my Dad. I thought it would be lost, since we've moved, but I'm glad it wasn't.

The only item I'm happy he sent was, a purple scarf. :) It's my favorite color, and I've been wanting one since the past few weeks. We moved during the week of Christmas, and since we started early morning that Saturday, it's been cold. Very cold, you can see your breath. A scarf and hand gloves were necessities. But, I didn't own either one.

As I'm still typing this blog, I am yawning but am watching Boston Legal. I say it's somewhat early for me to go to bed. Usually within the next hour, I find myself sleeping on top of the covers. It's only about a quarter after eleven. But, I do have to get up early and get ready for church.

I will always remember this quote from Benjamin Franklin:

"Early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise."

Sister Symone let's to more than 'always remember this quote', but let's put the quote to action in the year! ((Lol)) Did you fall asleep in service this morning or did you have to stop at Starbucks to get that cup of white chocolate mocha to wake you up? I'm only kidding you as you know--- keep me posted as much as you can between your college classes and studying on how you're doing. What are you majoring in at the university? I hope it's pre med or nursing!!

Girl forget about medicine or nursing if you don't want to see blood!
