Parents – We Need to Step Up Our Involvement in our Children’s Education A Guide for Parents to School our Kid

In this day of online living, kids are spending more and more time on their computers and laptops, in the car, at school and at home. As a continuation of our list of educational video games available for game systems, we want to offer up a list of online game sites that are both safe and educational for your kids. These sites give your child the ability to choose how and with what characters they want to learn, and as a parent, you don’t have the risk of purchasing a video game based around a specific show or character only to learn that your child no longer relates to them.

The following sites offer activities, games and projects for pre-school to kindergarten, and they are all available on secure, kid-oriented sites that your child can learn to navigate on their own. They are all based around well-known and kid-friendly products like Nickelodeon, Sesame Street or Fisher price, so there’s bound to be something for your child to learn with and love, and all of these games are educational. We strongly recommend that you take some time and sit down to play the games with your child. It is a great way to establish that you care about learning and that learning can be fun.

They can enhance their math and reading skills, learn colors and make art projects, solve puzzles and learn skills for their grade level and beyond, and when the weather’s bad, they’ll have something new to do.
