Reading an article ( http://blogs.physicstoday.org/update/2010/... ) today about a new breakthrough in using synchronized cameras to photograph the actual workings in genetics, it became clear how right the former leading proponent of Atheism Antony Flew ( http://www.deism.com/atheisttodeist.htm ) was to use genetics as a bridge to belief in the Supreme Intelligence and to Deism.
The resulting photo of the camera work is shown above. The green dot is the mRNA and the red line is the nuclear membrane. The mRNA "carries genetic information across a cell's nuclear membrane and into the cytoplasm, where the information is translated into a protein sequence." In order for the mRNA to get the information to the point where it's code can be translated it must pass through the nuclear pore complex. This is the first time a picture has been taken of this process!
What made me see how right fellow Deist Antony Flew was to use this example of the workings of genetics as a case for Deism and belief in the Supreme Intelligence is what the mRNA is transporting - INFORMATION. Information is defined as "knowledge communicated or received concerning a particular fact." You can't have knowledge without intelligence. And intelligence is defined as "capacity for reasoning, understanding, and for similar forms of mental capacity." So it makes a lot of sense that the information and knowledge being transported by the mRNA, which is being done in all of us right now, as well as in plants, flowers and all living things on Earth and probably throughout the Universe, has come from the Supreme Intelligence. I don't mean to say that Nature's God does this the way Christians used to say (some still do) that God fashions each snow flake individually, but that the source is the Designer and the process is part of the Designer's design.
It seems the more we learn through science, the more we learn about the Power or Force that put the working principles studied by science in place.

Can I also say?
As any Scientific Theory, the Theory, has be replicated in Laboratory many times to come up with a conclusive theory. The Scientist must see the experiment and data many times in different circumstances and times to make a conclusion He/She can determine is Truth, Absolute, something that can be allowed on the Scientific Evolution train, or something they would pen their name on.
