Trait And Skills A Leader Must Have

There are things that set leaders apart from other people. Some people are born with these characteristics. Others develop them as they improve as leaders. These are not magic bullets. They are things you can do and be if you want to be a leader. You have to want it.

The Leader's Vision.

A leader has a vision. Leaders see a problem that needs to be fixed or a goal that needs to be achieved. It may be something that no one else sees or simply something that no one else wants to tackle. Whatever it is, it is the focus of the leader's attention and they attack it with a single-minded determination.

Whether the goal is to double the teach others, develop a invention that will solve a certain problem, or start a enterprise that can achieve the leader's dream, the leader always has a clear target in mind.

Black Americans don't need a leader! Black Americans need a prophet. Having a prophet indicates God is in our midst.

It won't be you because after 7 years no, you have not moved off the dime. If that was GOD talking to you, why are you announcing yourself before you do the work of GOD. What have you done for the people? In the year that I have known you, nothing.

I am not going to argue senselessly with you! I said that Black Americans don’t need a leader now. Black Americans need a prophet.

Once we become a sovereign people in a country of our own as I have indicated then we will have leaders.

But, right now Black Americans need a prophet. Do you think that I am wrong that Black Americans don’t need a prophet? That is the point you must address if you disagree with me.

I am not entertaining any off or out of the way things you mentioned. Am I wrong that Black Americans don’t need a prophet of our own?

For instance, should a leader always cater to justice of a world's order; or separate from God's order--even if the people feel it right for them?

YOUR FIRST QUESTION: do you also feel that a leader should be immune in having the characteristics of laws of the God?

When you use the word Immune, I think of this question being religious in nature. My answer is NO!!! A religious leader and those of us who believe in GOD, must be as close to God’s laws as possible because it is our purpose to bring people who don’t know God, to God.

YOUR SECOND QUESTION: For instance, should a leader always cater to justice of a world's order; or separate from God's order--even if the people feel it right for them?

I believe that a leader should be in character of God’s order whenever possible. The Holy Bible is full of accounts of the Black Hebrew not listening and obeying the word of God, as the people did what they want to do and not what God wanted his people to do. A prime ensample is in THE BOOK OF DEUTERONOMY 28 which was a promise and warning to God’s people and I strongly believe God still talking to his people now.

That story is still playing out today, just look at it, many of our young youth, who grew up in religious families, good families in our major cities and larger towns, who go into the world of the streets, gangs, having unprotected s*x, alcohol and drugs just to mention a few, because they feel that its right for them. It is our duty, the religious leaders in our homes, churches and our communities to be there when our youth come back home, come back to GOD. We must be there as a solution to obeying God’s law.

Leadership Skills

Beyond the personal traits of a leader, there are specific skills someone must master if they want to be a leader. •Effective communication - it's more than just being able to speak and write. A leader's communication must move people to work toward the goal the leader has chosen.

•Motivation - a leader has to be able to motivate everyone to contribute. Each of us has different "buttons". A leader knows how to push the right buttons on everyone to make them really want to do their best to achieve the leader's goal. the people that you are motivating are bless with different gifts and talents that will bring out your plans and goals.

•Planning - the leader has a plan to achieve the goal. He/she doesn't get too bogged down in the details, that's what managers are for, but rather uses a high level plan to keep everyone moving together toward the goal.
