What Frightens Them is it Our Potential and Their Inferiority Complex(ion)?
What Frightens Them is it Our Potential and Their Inferiority Complex(ion)?
I do not ask this question in a derogatory manner, it is our complexion to how Black people are identified and judged, in addition to many viewing it as our beauty flaw.
But, as soon as a Black man speaks up to his family that it is time to clean our own houses and take care of our own businesses, he is labeled a separatist or a racist if they mention why.
The Ruin of a Nation Begins in the Homes of Its People ( a Ghanaian proverb)
African/Americans, we are a family and it is time that we begin working toward our own family's interests. The idea that, "Charity begins at home" is not separatism nor selfishness. The neglecting of ourselves and relying on others to provide for us nurtures that negative perception other families have of our community.
Is it Racist?
- to stop supporting any system that is failing to address our family needs
- to encourage family own businesses and entrepreneurship in our own neighborhoods
- to vote for candidates who empathies with our families job, health, housing, etc., conditions
- to insist that our neighborhood schools are staffed, equipped and supplied equally to publicly subsidized charter schools
- to tell our Youth that there are those who will harm and prey on you solely because of their complexion
- to unify our resources to ensure we qualify for some of the government infrastructure and capital improvement projects, especially those that will be developed and built in our communities.
- to be treated justly with the allocation of government contracts, loans, grants, scholarships, etc.
- to council your family that until we take ownership of our own financial, political and social destiny, we will be seen as not deserving of other families' respect.
So speaking to my family of Americans, like President Obama stated in one of his speeches: There’s no Liberal America, a Conservative America, Red States and Blue States, Red States for Republicans, Blue States for Democrats; there is not a Black America, a White America, a Latino America or an Asian America — There’s the United States of America.
To allot of the rest of The World, We All are the Ugly Americans.

Mr. Butcher ll,
There are so many things wrong about your blog. Your blog gives me insight of how ignorantly you think. I’ll pick just this one thing to show you how wrong you are.
This was quoted in your blog, “The Ruin of a Nation Begins in the Homes of Its People ( a Ghanaian proverb)”
41 million Black Americans descendants of plantation slaves had never been a nation. Black Americans are a NEW race of people and we began in ruins. Black Americans were born out of ruins.
Consequentially, your dumb-ass Ghanaian’s proverb is not applicable to Black Americans. Your do not think analytically and you do not reason rationally. You don’t know what you are talking about and you need to listen to me!
