Angels, according to Scripture, are known for their power. They are often referred to as "sons of the Mighty" (Psalm 103:20). Therefore, if the ones who sired them were strong and mighty, it could be assumed that their offspring were likewise.

No evidence exists in Scripture that the offspring of mixed marriages (believers and unbelievers) were giants, excelling in great strength and might. No evidence can be found anywhere in history for that matter. Such an interpretation poses impossible assumptions.

When the word "Nephilim" is used in Numbers 13:33, the question of size and strength is explicit. Here we are left in no doubt as to their superhuman prowess. When Joshua's spies reported back from Canaan, they called certain of the inhabitants of Canaan "giants." "And there we saw the Nephilim, the sons of Anak, which come of the Nephilim, and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight."

Some commentators have speculated that the Nephilim of Numbers 13 belonged to a second eruption of fallen angels, since the earlier Nephilim had been destroyed in the Flood.

And they see an allusion to this in Genesis 6:4, where it states that "there were Nephilim in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men." Could it be that the "after that" was a reference to the Nephilim found in Canaan during the Israelite entry into the land? If so, it could explain why the Lord commanded the total extermination of the Canaanites, as He had earlier ordered the near annihilation of the human race

The book of Galatians is a Pauline Epistle (letter from Paul). It was written by the Apostle Paul about 49 A.D. prior to the Jerusalem Council which had taken place in 50 A.D. This quite possibly could have been Paul's first letter.

This point about the whole Bible has been written in the third party is short sighted at best.. Brother Soso. Let us take the first five books of the Old Testaments, clearly was written by a second party. God is the first person, Moses is writing about his encounter, which makes him the second person.
Now, let’s look at Galatians 4:22,23,24 Abraham is the first person and his wife and the Egyptian bondwoman are the second party and since Paul had no part in that episode, he became the Third party because he was the story teller. people here and in Israel are trying to get rid of me and keep me from

Me," December 14, 1990). Allegations of "decades" of "mental health"
and "drinking problems" attributed to his former colleagues ("Biblical

Scholars Sort Issues behind Editor's Dismissal," _Orange County [CA]
Register_, December 24, 1990) leave unanswered the question of how such
a situation, if it existed, could be tolerated, particularly when
Strugnell was so swiftly dispatched for voicing, however combatively, a
few home truths about how certain influential Jewish opinion makers,
ancient and modern, see their Gentile neighbors.

The solution to the scandal of the Dead Sea Scrolls remains what
Dr. Larson urged a decade ago: ". . .first, they must be removed from
the custody of the Israeli government, and second, we must establish an
intellectual climate in the western world in which scholars and
