If this video presentation put you in shock, just think of our ancestors to whom this was done to. This is apart of our great past and we owe it to ourselves to make sure that we are aware of that past so that our children can be aware that this horrendous atrocities never happen again.

We must vote our interest for freedoms, health, economics, education, we can't afford to set out and not use our power to vote because to many have died and paid the price for that right and we can't lose and turn away from our goals and those rights ever again by saying my vote don't matter.

I need you to get the word out because this video presentation shocked me too.

I agree with understanding our past... I know there are even more stories ... Which are just unspeakable!! Chains.. cutting off fingers and other mutilation.. Dangling flesh over blazing fires...I can't stand it! Even today the slayings of our people!! No; white America cannot come close to carry out those deeds of yesteryear!! Plus.. I get pissed when I watch these documents..

Yes.. but I oppose the ones who say 'thy have no issues' with our ancestors past!!! I'm surprised that "whites" practicing this behavior had no sense of feelings !! I know they were insane ... !!!!!.... But this was 500 years of perpetual violence !!

your words are powerful and I am sure that the people you meet have the greatest respect for you. Now when you are in your revolting funk, you have came into contact with many of our Brothers and Sisters. Let's say that you came in contact with just five of our people while in this funk and we know that we handle that interaction with you in many ways. Now you have infected five unknowingly or unconsciously, now each one of them takes your attitude to just five others, now we have 100 people with this negative attitude, unknowingly we have spread this funk to our children, in a never ended funk.

Now just think if we was to embrace the power of love instead of this funk, then they "THE HATERS:" can't win.

Deacon Gray... I agree.. I amvery well known and respected in my community. I'm also the matriarch within my family...
I've witnessed racism first hand. Although, my experiences doesn't come close to the violence my ancestors had to endure... I demonstrate love.. forgiveness and most importantly compassion. However, I am not a hypocrite... I despise the notion that African American youth a are not taught our history orchoose to ignore it.

I agree and that is the reason why those of us who are in the know, should TEACH those of us who don't know. The family is a good place to TEACH.
