Doesn't matter. Doctors Without Borders wants an international inquirty. Charges the U.S. with war crimes.
Let the truth come out.
That air strike is not only embarrassing to me, but is becoming a real sore spot for America. I'm really troubled because I'm a healthcare worker and I feel solidarity to those who lost their lives caring for those in the war torn land.
@ Steve,
..."Doctors Without Borders wants an international inquiry. Charges the U.S. with war crimes."...
There should be an independent inquiry but being charged for war crimes is a bit much. Don't you think? I wouldn't be surprised if its just a very bad error on the part of the US sort of how friendly fire happens. My heart felt prayers go out to the families of the healthcare workers/patients being treated that died, the soldiers that have to live with this, and to the DWB personnel who are grieving their colleagues.
Let justice be done.
Jen, DWB stressed how their only protection is to keep all sides in a conflict fully informed where they are operating. They say the U.S. knew exactly where they were.
@ Steve,
Perhaps there is more to this story than meets the eye but I would like to give America the benefit of doubt. I personally do not think that we would deliberately harm healthcare workers.
Jen, "collateral damage" covers a multitude of sins.
The people that use this term "collateral damage" are the same people that will sit back and watch the police put there knee in the small of a 16 year old Black girls back are the same people that will sit back and watch the police on T.V. and call that justifiable.
The people that use this term "collateral damage" are the same people that will sit back and watch the police beat Rodney King almost to death on T.V. and let those racist police go, will call that Justifiable.
The people that use this term "collateral damage" are the same people that will sit back and watch the police on T.V. choke a Black Man for selling cigarettes will call that justifiable.
Now the U.S. has bombed a hospital and now the term "COLLATERAL DAMAGE" is being used and call that justifiable. Now ani't that is funny?

Says who? ((lol))
I really don't think that LOVE was thought of...
The administration is now saying they will make condolence payments.
@ Deac,
Sorry about that, I deleted the comment while you were typing ... No one thinks about love any more.
Money has a way of hushing people, eh?
If you follow the money trail, the people behind the money will disappear in most cases.
@ Deac,
Ain't that the truth!
