Why conservative pundits hate Donald Trump

Why conservative pundits hate Donald Trump

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. · Monday, March 7th 2016 at 8:15PM · 2595 views
Just about everyone who studies polls and elections is convinced that Donald Trump is extremely unlikely to win the Republican Party nomination, even though he's led solidly for close to six months. But that doesn't mean that we can't glean important insights, and have a little fun, by thinking through the likely consequences of a hypothetical Trump victory.

Consider the pundits.

Ever since the modern-day conservative movement came together in support of Ronald Reagan's candidacy in 1980, its leading intellectuals have tended to fall in line behind the Republican Party's nominee for president.

Keep on dreaming.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Tuesday, March 8th 2016 at 8:23AM

I see that you disagree with the article, WHY?

Steve Williams Tuesday, March 8th 2016 at 9:17AM

Because the date of this opinion is 12/9/15. It's now 3/8/16 Ron.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Tuesday, March 8th 2016 at 5:22PM

Exactly my point Steven, that is how long if Flux in the Republican Party has been go on, now the people are finley seeing the fall out, is it to late for the GOP?

Steve Williams Tuesday, March 8th 2016 at 6:54PM

That may be your point Ron, but that doesn't make your report not a lie.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Tuesday, March 8th 2016 at 8:01PM

The proof is in the history Steven.

Steve Williams Tuesday, March 8th 2016 at 8:04PM

More election results are coming in tonight Ron. That's what's known as the proof of the pudding. Read it and weep.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Tuesday, March 8th 2016 at 8:37PM

Steven, that to will be history as well. The way the Donald has been talking, there is no way that THE GOP will be seen to be open to all. The war in the GOP will be finely realized after tonight. I will call Mississippi for trump.

Steve Williams Wednesday, March 9th 2016 at 7:20AM

When are you going to realize Ron, this is not about the GOP. It's the open primaries where Trump is strong.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Wednesday, March 9th 2016 at 7:41AM

When will you realize this blog is about what the conservative pundits are talking about Steven and not me!!!

Steve Williams Wednesday, March 9th 2016 at 9:00AM

How boring, when we are getting actual voter results.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Wednesday, March 9th 2016 at 9:37AM

I am glad to see this war gapping in the GOP! Go Thump and keep your jobs in China for just a little while longer.

Steve Williams Wednesday, March 9th 2016 at 11:03AM

I'm hoping Hillary will be indicted, because it just would not be a fair fight, her against Donald.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Wednesday, March 9th 2016 at 11:52AM

Yea! You are right, the Donald don't have a chance. Wasn't it the Donald who will not hire America worker make his goods? Allow his works to unionize in his hotel? And pays less than minimal wage? Now he is going to make America Great Again!

Do what I say, not as I do! I love the low educated.

Steve Williams Wednesday, March 9th 2016 at 4:09PM

The low educated are the majority.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Wednesday, March 9th 2016 at 7:59PM

I believe the term is "Poorly educated."

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Wednesday, March 9th 2016 at 8:07PM

I believe the term is "Poorly educated," I want to correct myself Steven.

Donald Trump: ‘I love the poorly educated."

Steve Williams Wednesday, March 9th 2016 at 8:30PM

Greg doesn't want to hear any dissent Ron. Sorry.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Thursday, March 10th 2016 at 12:39AM

...Steve is absolutely correct in what it is I don't want to hear from him. I know I said that I would probably not respond to erroneous comments of dissention. Deacon, in a word - Bourgeoise!

There are those who truly believe that they are above everyone else - better than anyone else - We may not be as educated as those who deem that we are not...one damn thing is for sure, we know who not to vote for and we have enough sense to know right from wrong. Does anyone remember how Brother Obama won the white-man's house? Well I'm here to tell ya - IT WAS PEOPLE POWER!

I'll also say this about and to our good friend Steve, you and the demon that you follow really know how to piss a person (people) off. The ballot box will certainly bring a halt to all this non-sense. Someone else did the same thing and put Our Brother Obama in the seat of seats. I can recall that very well, educated or not.

It seems I'v e made a mistake in my choice of friends.

Steve Williams Saturday, April 2nd 2016 at 7:55AM

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Saturday, April 2nd 2016 at 10:41AM

Gregory V. Boulware, Esq. Sunday, April 3rd 2016 at 10:36AM

My Good Brother Deacon Ron Gray:

I’d like to think so… As much as I’d like that statement to be true to point, there are many who do not or are incapable of listening.

Thank you also Brother, for standing pat on the issue(s) at hand (and Me).

Albeit, the allusion of making it plain for the earthly eye and ear to see and/or hear, the participation in engagement with the enemy is completely out of the question or realm of reality.

I have no further use for the communication with or of someone who is a ‘poser.’ This being wishes to have me to become involved in time-wasting semantics while forgoing the industrious pontification of truth. Disciples of ‘Beelzebub’ and other components of "evil-doers" have no place in the enlightenment or gainful advancement of our people other than acquiring the knowledge of whom and/or what is ‘good’ and ‘evil.’ It is their natural ‘practicum’ to teach and practice hate and hateful things upon the face of the Earth, everywhere and every time they are opportune.

This fellow, whom I thought to be friend, is embodied within the pages of one of my books along with a few other esteemed colleagues such as ‘Sister Irma Robinson.’ The book that is alluded, is “The Spirit of the Soul and The Death of Morals.” If I had the time and energy to have it removed – perhaps it will be done with a revision in the near future. I have, however, removed him from my list of friends but not blocked at this particular time due to him not being like the other unmentionable character whom I do not communicate.

I do apologize for utilizing all this space for the edification of one unbeliever who insists on having the last word. I intentionally stopped speaking when it was clear that this person has been exposed for who and what he truly is (and represents) and hoped for nothing further than compliance to my wishes…or not.

Thank you Good Brother for allowing me to reply, better still, reflect on the nature of ‘The Beast.’

I'm waiting for Greg to clarify those words, but if he's calling me a racist and a bigot, no, I don't agree.

A practicum is a graduate level course, often in a specialized field of study, that is designed to give students supervised practical application of a previously or concurrently studied theory. Practicums (student teaching) are common for education and social work majors. In some cases, the practicum may be a part-time student teaching placement that occurs the semester before a student's full-time student teaching placement.

Steve Williams Thursday, April 7th 2016 at 8:29AM

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Thursday, April 7th 2016 at 8:35AM

That was real brilliant of you to ask a question and in the next breath answer that same question, WOW!!!

Steve Williams Thursday, April 7th 2016 at 8:44AM

And why would an author speak of "time-wasting semantics?"

Semantics (from Ancient Greek: σημαντικός sēmantikós, "significant")[1][2] is the study of meaning. It focuses on the relationship between signifiers—like words, phrases, signs, and symbols—and what they stand for, their denotation. Linguistic semantics is the study of meaning that is used for understanding human expression through language.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Thursday, April 7th 2016 at 9:48AM

This author that you are referring too, "What is his or her name?"

Steve Williams Thursday, April 7th 2016 at 9:52AM

Greg? Greg never sought a dialog, he has only engaged in industrious pontification.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Thursday, April 7th 2016 at 10:31AM

As your call has gone forth, I will take this subject back on topic.

Here's what I think what is happen with Trump and i agree with. Most, I think, would choose to go into exile, withdrawing their support, at least temporarily, from the Republican Party. And that would be an event every bit as significant as the split in the Republican electorate that a Trump candidacy would reflect and intensify. It would mark nothing less than the crack-up of the conservative movement as it's been constituted for the past 35 years.

They feel that Donald Trump is a loser in the general election no matter who the DEMS put up to run against him. WOW!!!

Steve Williams Thursday, April 7th 2016 at 10:32AM

The bourgeoisie (Eng.: /bʊərʒwɑːˈziː/; French pronunciation: [buʁʒwazi]) is a polysemous French term because it can mean:

a sociologically defined class, especially in contemporary times, referring to people with a certain cultural and financial capital belonging to the middle or upper stratum of the middle class: the upper (haute), middle (moyenne) and petty (petite) bourgeoisie (which are collectively designated "the Bourgeoisie"). An affluent and often opulent stratum of the middle class (capitalist class) who stood opposite the proletariat class;
a legally defined class of the Middle Ages to the end of the "Ancien Régime" (Old Regime) in France, that of inhabitants having the rights of citizenship and political rights in a city (comparable to the German term Bürgertum and Bürger);
and, originally and generally, "those who live in the borough", that is to say, the people of the city (including merchants and craftsmen), as opposed to those of rural areas; in this sense, the bourgeoisie began to grow in Europe from the 11th century and particularly during the Renaissance of the 12th century, with the first developments of rural exodus and urbanization.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Thursday, April 7th 2016 at 10:46AM

Try again Steven because your last comment has nothing to do with this issue of Why conservative pundits hate Donald Trump.

Why do conservative pundits hate Donald Trump?

Steve Williams Thursday, April 7th 2016 at 11:21AM

I don't know Ron. Maybe because they are bourgeoisie?

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Thursday, April 7th 2016 at 12:40PM

If this was true Steven, would you think that the people would put there interest in a candidate like Donald Trump first?

Or

If the Republican Party is bourgeoisie like you said, then the leadership is using the middle, lower classes and the uneducated or lowly educated people to complete their agenda to keep the law that makes corporations, people and money into speech, that flies against the interest of liberty and Justice and the right of Freedoms in this country.

.

This law of citizens united must be repealed

Steve Williams Thursday, April 7th 2016 at 12:59PM

I didn't say the Republican Party nor anyone else is bourgeoisie. What I want to know is why Greg classified me thusly.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Thursday, April 7th 2016 at 8:12PM

That is right! I will always have room for the truth, even when you being it.

Like this for example: " I love the poorly educated said Donald Trump." That is a FACT.

Steve Williams Thursday, April 7th 2016 at 9:38PM

I love the poorly educated too.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Thursday, April 7th 2016 at 9:48PM

WHY?

Steve Williams Thursday, April 7th 2016 at 10:15PM

That's what Jesus and the Buddha teach.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Thursday, April 7th 2016 at 11:14PM

Show my where Jesus said he love the poorly educated, what scripture, in what Book in The Holy Bible, show me that Steven?

Steve Williams Friday, April 8th 2016 at 6:52AM

Matthew 23

6 They like the most prominent place at evening meals and the front seats in the synagogues 7 and the greetings in the marketplaces and to be called Rabbi by men. 8 But you, do not you be called Rabbi, for one is your Teacher, and all of you are brothers. 9 Moreover, do not call anyone your father on earth, for one is your Father, the heavenly One. 10 Neither be called leaders, for your Leader is one, the Christ.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Friday, April 8th 2016 at 9:14AM

Where in this verse that it say, Jesus loved the poorly educated? Please...

Steve Williams Friday, April 8th 2016 at 10:31AM

Ron, if you as a Christian can't rightly divide the truth, what hope do I as an unbeliever have to convince you.

Steve Williams Friday, April 8th 2016 at 10:34AM

The scribes and the pharisees were the highly educated, the crowd and the disciples were the poorly educated. Which of the two does Jesus show love for in Matthew 23?

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Friday, April 8th 2016 at 12:09PM

In The Book of Matthew 23 which includes verse 6 is about The scribes and Pharisees explaining the law of Moses, and enforced obedience to it. They are charged with hypocrisy in religion. We can only judge according to outward appearance; but God searches the heart.

Pride was the darling, reigning sin of the Pharisees, the sin that most easily beset them, and which our Lord Jesus takes all occasions to speak against. For him that is taught in the word to give respect to him that teaches, is commendable; but for him that teaches, to demand it, to be puffed up with it, is sinful. How much is all this against the spirit of Christianity! The consistent disciple of Christ is pained by being put into chief places. But who that looks around on the visible church, would think this was the spirit required? It is plain that some measure of this antichristian spirit prevails in every religious society, and in every one of our hearts.

The scribes and Pharisees were enemies to the gospel of Christ, and therefore to the salvation of the souls of men. It is bad to keep away from Christ ourselves, but worse also to keep others from him. Yet it is no new thing for the show and form of godliness to be made a cloak to the greatest enormities. But dissembled piety will be reckoned double iniquity. They were very busy to turn souls to be of their party. Not for the glory of God and the good of souls, but that they might have the credit and advantage of making converts. Gain being their godliness, by a thousand devices they made religion give way to their worldly interests.

Now Steven I see that you have tried to place Donald Trump in the same category as Jesus Christ by saying Jesus loves the poorly educated when in fact Jesus Christ was TEACHING about the renewing to heart and spirit be made new, there will be newness of life in GOD; and we must begin with ourselves. Now Donald Trump can be compared to the scribes and Pharisees were enemies to the gospel of Christ, and therefore to the salvation of the souls of men. It is bad to keep away from Christ ourselves, but worse also to keep others from him. Yet it is no new thing for the show and form of godliness to be made a cloak to the greatest enormities. They were very busy to turn souls to be of their party. Not for the glory of God and the good of souls, but that they might have the credit and advantage of making converts. Gain being their godliness, by a thousand devices they made religion give way to their worldly interests, “Like classism.”

Jesus Christ had a movement that was in direct conflict with The scribes and Pharisees and people was hearing a word that moved the people away from the rich and the influential, to a movement set forth in The Old Testament to hear the voice of The Most High and Keep his commandments.

One more thing before I go. Steven, why would you try to put this scripture before me and try to misrepresent it as proof that Jesus Christ loved the poorly educated when you don’t know what you are talking, Steven? Why would you do that? Do you thing that I would not see what you are trying to do?

YOUR WORDS: Ron, if you Ron, if you as a Christian can't rightly divide the truth, what hope do I as an unbeliever have to convince you., what hope do I as an unbeliever have to convince you.

What evidence do you have to say that Ron, if you as a Christian can't rightly divide the truth, what hope do I as an unbeliever have to convince you. That is the reason right here is why Brother Doctor Gregory Boulware don’t waste his time with you and you want to know why, this is a great example.

Steve Williams Friday, April 8th 2016 at 3:15PM

I can put the scripture before you Ron, why not? I've been studying it for 42 years. Now please remember you asked me why do I love the lowly educated, not why Donald Trump does.

Jeni Fa Friday, April 8th 2016 at 3:23PM

You guys are too, cute! I think Mr. Trump should be Independent of the Grand Ole Party or Tea Party. He's definitely not what I think of when I think of a typical Republican because he Doesn't subscribe to any one Religious category accept Maybe Atheist. He doesn't hate women but he doesn't support women. He tends to antagonize women that don't believe he is the greatest. He's not really against abortion. He's not really for abortion either. I think he needs prayer!

Jeni Fa Friday, April 8th 2016 at 3:38PM

@ Steve,
..."Since when does support for a Presidential candidate garner such disdain? Since when is being a Democratic the test of friendship?"...

Unfortunately, I have had to ask myself the same question since voting against Pres. Obama for a second term. It's just how my people are. We don't have the ability to truly 'agree to disagree' without being disagreeable. It's a sad commentary. You can see this playing out with the two Black women that support Mr. Trump. We simply don't understand that the African Disapora is a mini cosmos of differences of opinions, thoughts, and ideas.

This is why you will read... I'm a Free Woman statements because I'm making it known that although I'm a Black woman, I'm free from mind control and crab in the bucket mentality.

Black Americans (and nurses) will throw a person under the bus quicker than any other group I've come across. I personally hate this observation of my people but it's a symptom of an oppressed group.

I hope that you understand and take this all with a grain of salt. You are with us until you are again us mentality isn't to be taken to heart. I like you no matter who you vote or support. One's vote is a personal thing and shouldn't be a reflection of the whole of the person.

I like President Obama until I didn't like again. Does that mean that I'm antiBlack? Of course not! God forbid it! Alls is means is that there were some of his policies and practices that didn't sit well with me, namely his treatment of Israel. Every American President has always understood the r/ship w/ Israel had to be supported.

Then he cuts funds for Aids/HIV to Africa but tells these countries that they must support GLBT communities. Does that even make sense?!

Then this ISIS gaining ground after he pulls troops out of Iraq... Need I say more?

I'm done.

Gregory V. Boulware, Esq. Friday, April 8th 2016 at 3:45PM

...Very Well Put Brother Deacon Ron Gray.

Some folks just can't (or deliberately turn a blind eye) see the writing on the wall. How could I as a Man face my people knowing that I have turned to the unbelievers who are hell bent on OUR Destruction? All they want to see is our demise and eradication from the Earth!

Steven, (I do hope that you do not respond with more bull) I liked you as a Man, as a Person who stood up for rightness and fairness in the hopes that people would benefit from the RIGHT TRUTH, THE CORRECT TRUTH, right up until you suddenly turned to the DEVIL! Yeah, he, trump, and people like him, is (are) a representative(s) of the devil (if not being him in person). Those who support the devil will pay the ultimate price!

Do I believe in the possibility of having to face your transgressions and answer for all of your sins before "The Most High" come judgment day? ABSOLUTELY! All of these evil-doers will have to face; meet their maker and answer for their evil deeds while residing on the face of the planet created by GOD! That includes You and Me. It's true that you have known me and spoken with me in the past. I liked you then and I could like you now for the exception of your unworthy position of standing with people who HATE MY PEOPLE and THOSE WHO WOULD DO AND CAUSE HARM TO ME AND THEM.

You are probably going to ask, "What harm has or have they done?" I will answer, where have you been for all of your life? Where have you been when these so-called people lynched, butchered, castrated, humiliated, raped, and murdered MY PEOPLE? And they'd like to continue this practice under the "practicum" of what they've been taught to practice as a way of life, a belief, a creed! And suddenly YOU have turned sharply to the rear and marched forth with these haters and master-planners of murder and deception. What's worse is there are many Black Folks who support this man-beast as well...they are as blind and incompetent as those who choose to follow the so-called rich and famous. I will never understand why that is so when it benefits you (them) not. The rich and famous care for nothing but themselves. Ask yourself why it is that in this country there are so many with wealth who do nothing to help those without? There is (are) enough rich folks in these United States to put every single homeless person in a home and not see a single penny lost by the wayside. Ever person in this country could have plenty of food in the rich were to provide it for them! No one need go unfed! Instead, what do they do?

They do all they can to keep US from VOTING, from LEARNING, from PROGRESSING, from RISING TO A HIGHER STATUS IN SOCIETY! And Yes, They Want Us Dead and Gone From Amongst Them! And You, my one time friend, expect me to understand why you have aligned yourself with those who want nothing but to continue receiving benefits of FREE BLACK LABOR and GIVING NOTHING IN RETURN! They say the Blacks are nothing but welfare receiving, food-stamp eating, lazy and shiftless burdens that we have no need for.

Why do you think they made it illegal to teach Black Children (People) to read and write? It's because they knew the truth about our people before WE did! They knew that if we were allowed to practice our own religions, our own languages, our own beliefs and cultures that we would soon become the leader(s) of this nation and they, which they already are, the lowly underclass minority! ...Don't blink, it's happening anyway. The world and the times of this country are changing...The Most High Knows What He or She is doing. It's happened before.

Smoke screen tactics of misconception will no longer be the tool of the trade, more and more young (and older) Black Folks are waking up and learning the TRUTH and taking advantage of it as well. Why do you think they are now making it more and more difficult for OUR PEOPLE to attend colleges and schools of higher learning? They know it's the beginning of the end of white rule in America and around the world.

You should also know, as a writer, I always keep a dictionary at hand. Your bull regarding the word 'practicum' is just as insulting as your attempts at persuading readers to think I (we) don't know what we are talking about or saying is plain ordinary garbage and a practiced 'practicum' in the annals of white supremacy - it's taught, practiced, and preached by your compatriots in their schools of learning how to hate people of color!

Take a lesson:
Practicum - (in a college or university) the part of a course consisting of practical work in a particular field.
Origin of practicum Expand - 1904, from Late Latin practicum, neuter of practicus (see practical ). Cf. German praktikum.
1900-19051900-05; < Latin, neuter of practicus practic
Dictionary.com Unabridged

Now, with this unabridged yet self-controlled explanation that I do not think is warranted except for the benefit of 'MY People,' the Readers, I do expect that you will understand where it is that you have placed yourself. Albeit, this, you are not the first one to infiltrate our populace and pretend to befriend us. You have espoused the fact that your family is a bi-racial one, as is many of us are, yet you do not see or heed the warning that threatens 'we as a people.' The white establishment seeks only to kill us off by any means necessary. They'll pit one against the other and cause separation and divisiveness amongst all who seek the right to live, equality, freedom , and peace.

I is with deep regret that you, Steven, and I have to part ways over such a thing as politics. But it is what it is...I am for the betterment of My People and their/our Rightful Place in this World Society as a whole, and not the oppressive, repression of the established white ruling class.

...I would encourage you and people who think like you to take a look at 'MAAFA 21' or my rendition of "Maafa, Life After Conquest!"

I wish you the best of luck Steve and I do hope that you will one day truly see the light! Hopefully, this issue has been put to bed (for now), as I wish to put an end to this particular discussion.

When I look at living beings
I see them drowned in a sea of suffering;
therefore I do not show myself,
causing them to thirst for me.
Then when their minds are filled with yearning,
at last I appear and preach the Law for them.
Such are my transcendental powers.
For asamkhya kalpas
constantly I have dwelled on Holy Eagle Peak
and in various other places.
P.272When living beings witness the end of a kalpa
and all is consumed in a great fire,
this, my land, remains safe and tranquil,
constantly filled with heavenly and human beings.
The halls and pavilions in its gardens and groves
are adorned with various kinds of gems.
Jeweled trees abound in flowers and fruit
where living beings enjoy themselves at ease.
The gods strike heavenly drums,
constantly making many kinds of music.
Mandarava blossoms rain down,
scattering over the Buddha and the great assembly.
My pure land is not destroyed,
yet the multitude sees it as consumed in fire,
with anxiety, fear, and other sufferings
filling it everywhere.
These living beings with their various offenses,
through causes arising from their evil actions,
spend asamkhya kalpas
without hearing the name of the three treasures.
But those who practice meritorious ways,
who are gentle, peaceful, honest, and upright,
all of them will see me
here in person, preaching the Law.

As I think education is at the root of all good, and each person can only play their part, small or large… Racism will only end if we each live non-racism and show by example for others we personally touch.

(in Marxist contexts) the capitalist class who own most of society's wealth and means of production.

In Marxist philosophy the bourgeoisie is the social class that came to own the means of production during modern industrialization and whose societal concerns are the value of property and the preservation of capital, to ensure the perpetuation of their economic supremacy in society; the middle classes. (In Marxist thought) the ruling class of the two basic classes of capitalist society, consisting of capitalists, manufacturers, bankers, and other employers.
