Jon Stewart tears into Trump supporters: 'This country isn't yours'

Michael Moore says that Trump will win.

I believe so too, by looking at all that hate I saw during this republican party convention however, I only hope that there are more American people can see that Trump never did mention how he was going to make his plan work. There was no "HOW" there in his speech. Blame YES, Gloom YES, links from inter city crime to Muslim terrorism, YES. but nothing of his plans to fix it.

It is like in the wizard of OZ, a lot of lights and smoke but we find out later, that man behind the curtain was just a small salesman, with a bag of goods, when the people had the answers all of the time.

He was not talking to the American people, he was talking at them. That is not the stuff of a winner but a LOSER.

"Lock Him Up, Lock Him Up, Lock Him Up" and throw away the key before he gets us all killed! He is as dangerous as the terrorists who plague this country and countries abroad as well.

Several other prominent folk have stated their positions regarding this person with "Laughter, Sadness, and Fear!"

We all know that is was stolen with deceit, murder, and disease by the jail birds and murderers who corrupted and terrorized the Europeans. The ruling classes were more than happy to let them go and discover someone else's backyard and terrorize them instead. The plan after that was to impose control on them again once they have conquered and established the usurping colonies with tariffs and free slave labor. Especially what I saw take place in the republican party convention and the fear I heard come from Trump.

Democrats are every bit as hateful.

It comes from America's judeo-christian background.

Steven, The Republicans appear to have a very clear plan for America. They articulated it throughout the convention. No. 1, jail your political opponent. No. 2, inject Rudy Giuliani with a speedball and a Red Bull enema. And then No. 3, spend the rest of the time scaring the holy bejesus out of everybody.

The truth is the truth no matter where it comes from. What part of what you saw was not the truth that you did not like? Was it the announcement that FOX News CEO and Jabba The Hutt player Roger Ailes was accused of repeated s*xual harassment and his actions to resign as chairman of FOX News? What a JOKE by Colbert and then when Jon Stewart came back, that really topped the cake.

Or was it the comments of Jon Stewart when he took over the “Late Show Desk?” The convention is over he said, I thought Donald Trump was going to speak. Ivanka said that he was going to come out, she said he was really compassionate and generous but then this angry groundhog came out. Now that was funny because that is exactly what came out to the stage.

I did watched Trumps' speeches and heard him mix the lies with some FACTS.

TRUMP CLAIM: We all remember the images of our sailors being forced to their knees by their Iranian captors at gunpoint. This was just prior to the signing of the Iran deal.

THE FACTS: It actually came AFTER the signing of the Iran deal, which happened on July 14, 2015. The sailors were captured in Jan. 2016 — right before President Obama's State of the Union address.
TRUMP CLAIM: My opponent wants to essentially abolish the 2nd amendment.

THE FACTS: Clinton has proposed gun regulations, like background checks to purchase firearms. Yet the 2008 Supreme Court decision protecting and individual's right to possess firearms also stated that the right isn't unlimited — and can be subjected to regulations.

TRUMP CLAIM: Homicides last year increased by 17 percent in America's fifty largest cities. That's the largest increase in 25 years.

THE FACTS: Trump is correct that there has recently been an uptick in crime, including in some (but not all) of America's largest cities. But overall, violent crime is down significantly since the 1980s and 1990s, according to FBI statistics. And the current violent crime rate is lower today per the most recent data (365 incidents of violent crime per 100,000 people) than when President Obama first took office in 2009 (431 incidents per 100,000 people).

TRUMP CLAIM: The number of new illegal immigrant families who have crossed the border so far this year already exceeds the entire total from 2015.

THE FACTS: That statistic is true, but it's also a bit of cherry-picking. In Fiscal Year 2014, there were more than 68,000 apprehensions of immigrant families crossing the border. That number declined to 40,000 in Fiscal Year 2015. In Fiscal Year 2016 (which ends in September), the number stands at 51,000 — so higher than in 2015, but lower than 2014 (see here and here).

It was mandatory Ron, and was able to be accomplished because all the guns were registered. Did you not see this in the article?
