Indiana Gov. Mike Pence Says Religious Freedom Law 'Absolutely Not' a Mistake

ABC's George Stephanopoulos challenges Indiana Gov. Mike Pence on his state's Religious Freedom Restoration Act.

Pence must have failed writing in school. He can't seem to answer a question, which of course tells us the answer is that storekeepers can deny service to anyone they choose to based on religious preferences.

Storekeepers can't deny service to anyone based on Race, Color, Religion, s*x, Age, Handicap or National Origin. That's a little piece of legislation called the Civil Rights Act. They could deny service based on s*xual orientation, since that group isn't protected.

The law (which I read in-full) doesn't legalize discrimination. It protects people of ALL religious affiliations from the government forcing them to do business in a way that conflicts with their beliefs. Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, Christians, Atheists, etc.... And "stupider" isn't a word.

You got to see how Pence dodges the answer Religious Freedom Law 'Absolutely Not' a Mistake. Do you want four years of this?

I like to highlight this comment: It is just good business since to service someone who is gay. If the LGBT community wants the issue resolved, then a law should be passed which includes them as a protected class under Indiana and Federal law. If business owners (like me) have never discriminated in the past, this law won't make them (or me) discriminate now. That's like saying if we legalize pot, everyone will start smoking joints. It's just not true.
