on Offense: Trump Has Built His Campaign on Prejudice

Hillary Clinton on Friday morning repeatedly called Donald Trump's actions "disturbing," but wouldn't go so far as to personally call Trump a bigot.

"All I can do is point to the evidence of what he has said and what he has done," Clinton said when asked if she would deem the GOP nominee a racist or a bigot—a word Trump used to describe Clinton earlier this week.

Clinton in an exclusive interview with "Morning Joe" reiterated much of what she laid out in her scathing Thursday speech: that Trump has "taken hate groups" into the mainstream and has a "long history of racial discrimination."

"I am reaching out to everyone — Republicans, Democrats, independents, everyone — who is as troubled as I am by the bigotry and the divisiveness of Donald Trump's campaign," Clinton said. "We are facing a divisive candidate whose loose cannon temperament and his complete lack of preparation make him unqualified to be president."

On the controversy surrounding the Clinton Foundation, Clinton said she is certain there are no emails that could impact her presidential prospects.

"Are you certain?" asked host Mika Brzezinski. "I am sure, Mika" Clinton said.
