Megyn Kelly puts Trump campaign manager in hot seat over treatment of women

Fox News host Megyn Kelly repeatedly challenged Donald Trump's campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway, about controversies involving the Republican presidential nominee and his treatment of women in a testy exchange on Wednesday night's "Kelly File."

Kelly, who has been on the receiving end of more than a couple of Trump's comments herself, refused to accept Conway's claim that the billionaire has made just a "couple of comments over 25 years."

"You know that's not true. You know," Kelly fired back. "You know he has repeatedly made comments about women, about their looks, about their size, their weight. Even in this campaign, talking about [former GOP presidential candidate] Carly Fiorina's face, retweeting a negative picture about Heidi Cruz's face, criticizing Hillary Clinton and her 'look.' And, Kellyanne, this is an issue for him, is it not?"

As always, we would like to open this topic to the floor for discussion.

Steve Williams Saturday, October 1st 2016 at 11:26PM

Megyn now has told Hillary if she wants to use her name against Trump to do it on her show and not Mary J. Blige's. Let's see if Hillary's got the balls.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Sunday, October 2nd 2016 at 9:56AM

Let us talk about this topic Steven. what message did you get from this video?

Fox News host Megyn Kelly repeatedly challenged Donald Trump's campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway, about controversies involving the Republican presidential nominee and his treatment of women in a testy exchange on Wednesday night's "Kelly File."

Steve Williams Sunday, October 2nd 2016 at 11:20AM

I saw the Kelly Files that night Ron, as I do every night. It was not a "testy" exchange. It was what Fox News does best, "fair and balanced."

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Sunday, October 2nd 2016 at 2:46PM

That is very good Steven that you watch The Kelly Files but did you see Conway pushed back by criticizing Clinton, the Democratic presidential nominee, for spending millions on ads hitting Trump on his treatment of women instead of putting forward her plan for America?

Steve Williams Sunday, October 2nd 2016 at 4:17PM

I saw everything Ron, and I didn't need to turn to MSNBC to see it.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Sunday, October 2nd 2016 at 4:51PM

Did you see how she got on the defense and started LIE when asked Trump's how about miss universe?

Steve Williams Sunday, October 2nd 2016 at 5:10PM

What I saw Ron is you tried to feed me some MSNBC regurgitation.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Sunday, October 2nd 2016 at 7:59PM

The FACT that she had LIED right in front of you and the world don't bother you?

Steve Williams Sunday, October 2nd 2016 at 9:00PM

Such a strong word, LIE, in this 2 year long political debacle Ron.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Sunday, October 2nd 2016 at 10:16PM

That is what Donald and his team has been doing since he became the republican nominee for president of The United States of America. Either you don't care that they use the method of lying to the world or you just don't give a damn.

That makes you part of the problem.

You are willing to support a man and a party, that will take away the long fought for freedoms for women, voting rights, Civil rights, social Security, taxes, public school's, right to a save abortion, our men and women in the Armed Forces, inter-structure jobs just to mention a few programs that will be in jeopardy with A trump ministration because people like yourself over looks the LIES of Trump and his team or you just dont give a damn.

You are putting yourself in the same place as the pure blooded German's when Hitler came to power, they did not care neither, all they wanted was to make Germany great again. WOW !!!

Don't you know that we are stronger together?

Steve Williams Sunday, October 2nd 2016 at 11:23PM

The most damning lies BY FAR are Hillary's. She should be in jail right now.

Steve Williams Sunday, October 2nd 2016 at 11:25PM

And Comey and Lynch should be there with her.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Sunday, October 2nd 2016 at 11:46PM

You really don't give a damn about those programs that will help the poor and the middle classes that have improved life for the senior citizens and the working classes of all races.

You have truly put yourself in the same place as the pure blooded German's when Hitler came to power, they did not care neither, all they wanted was to make Germany great again, sound familiar!!!

Steve Williams Monday, October 3rd 2016 at 3:25AM

If those programs are so important why is Hillary talking about Miss Piggy 1996 instead?

Steve Williams Monday, October 3rd 2016 at 3:35AM

P.S. What should I call a Hillary fanatic who calls me, grandson of a German immigrant, a Nazi?

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Monday, October 3rd 2016 at 4:32AM

To show the people of the United States how thin skin that THUG, the Republican nominee is and how easily he can be baited into getting off track. Steven, you see that, why don't you believe what you see?

It is your actions, that are called into play as being like those of the people of Germany before that muster Hitler came into power.

Steve Williams Monday, October 3rd 2016 at 4:55AM

What was the question Hillary was "answering" when she brought up Machado in the last couple minutes of the most watched Presidential debate ever? She had the media lined up to derail the conversation for the rest of the week. That's why she did it, to keep the liberals stuck on stupid.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Monday, October 3rd 2016 at 8:31AM

The question that was put to you was after I answered your question was : "To show the people of the United States how thin skin that THUG, the Republican nominee is and how easily he can be baited into getting off track.

Steven, you see that, why don't you believe what you see? Did you over look that question again?

Steve Williams Monday, October 3rd 2016 at 11:13AM

Donald Trump is neither a thug nor thin-skinned.

Steve Williams Monday, October 3rd 2016 at 11:20AM

That's why you and Hillary will be shocked and dismayed come November 8. Because you made that mistake of thinking him thin-skinned.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Monday, October 3rd 2016 at 12:30PM

What part of the Cuba investigation on the part of Trump's plan to do business there that you don't understand? Thump wanted to beat the big crime families there in Cuba so, he would be the biggest mobster, crime boss, THUG, WISE GUY there in CUBA.

Steve Williams Monday, October 3rd 2016 at 12:37PM

What do you think Hillary's gender identity is?

Steve Williams Monday, October 3rd 2016 at 12:49PM

https://www.c-span.org/2016presidentialDeb...

The question that was asked of Trump what he meant by "Hillary doesn't look presidential." Hillary said Trump loves beauty pagents. Only an unpresidential female would take offense. Any man would know he wasn't talking about female good looks.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Monday, October 3rd 2016 at 1:42PM

The question is: "What part of the Cuba investigation on the part of Trump's plan to do business there in Cuba that you don't understand?"

Steven, this question will stand until you bring closure to it.

Steve Williams Monday, October 3rd 2016 at 2:30PM

Explain what Cuba has to do with Trump's treatment of women.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Monday, October 3rd 2016 at 3:49PM

It was from this Steven:

The question that was put to you was after I answered your question was : "To show the people of the United States how thin skin that THUG, the Republican nominee is and how easily he can be baited into getting off track.

Steven, you see that, why don't you believe what you see? Did you over look that question again?

Your Response: Donald Trump is neither a thug nor thin-skinned.
Monday, October 3rd 2016 at 11:13AM

then you added this:

That's why you and Hillary will be shocked and dismayed come November 8. Because you made that mistake of thinking him thin-skinned.
Monday, October 3rd 2016 at 11:20AM

You said that Donald was not a THUG and I showed you exactly what I meant, with this statement:

What part of the Cuba investigation on the part of Trump's plan to do business there that you don't understand? Which you have not answered that question yet, WHY?

Thump wanted to beat the big crime families there in Cuba so, he would be the biggest mobster, crime boss, THUG, WISE GUY there in CUBA. Donald Trump wants to be known as the tough guy but he comes across as a bully, a THUG, a Gangster, did I say THUG and now with the CUBA scandal of spending money in CUBA during the embargo, now is known as a CRIMINAL DONALD J !!!

Steve Williams Monday, October 3rd 2016 at 3:53PM

I didn't ask anything about why you called Trump a thug. I said he wasn't a thug but it has nothing to do with his treatment of women.

Steve Williams Monday, October 3rd 2016 at 3:55PM

Or more to the point, it has nothing to do with Hillary saying he loves to hang out at beauty pageants and call the winner Miss Piggy 1996.

Steve Williams Monday, October 3rd 2016 at 4:01PM

Now Ron, what do you think Donald meant when he said Secretary Hillary doesn't look Presidential?

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Monday, October 3rd 2016 at 4:22PM

I never said, you said that that Donald was a THUG, His actions clearly dictates that!

YOUR WORDS: Or more to the point, it has nothing to do with Hillary saying he loves to hang out at beauty pageants and call the winner Miss Piggy 1996.

Did Donald ever call Miss Universe "MISS PIGGY?"

YOUR QUESTION: Now Ron, what do you think Donald meant when he said Secretary Hillary doesn't look Presidential?

I have no clue but I did enjoy Clinton's come back, which put Donald in his place. Now that was powerful.

I see that you don't want to deal with the Cuba scandal that put monies in Castro's pockets at a time when it was illegal for any American to do. Steven, do you care that Donald did that, that he broke the laws of this land?

Steve Williams Monday, October 3rd 2016 at 6:26PM

What's the story on Cuba? What has Trump said about Cuba?

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Monday, October 3rd 2016 at 7:19PM

Google Trump and Cuba business deal and you will find several stories, The facts are the facts.

In this blog is talking about Megyn Kelly puts Trump campaign manager in hot seat over treatment of women.

Steve Williams Monday, October 3rd 2016 at 7:40PM

I see that Ron, but you were the one that brought up Cuba. I saw Siebra's post but I didn't know what to make of it.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Monday, October 3rd 2016 at 8:03PM

Trump illegally done business during The Cuban embargo, that means Stevie, Trump is a law breaker and people are now seeing who Trump is. Trump had a real bad week since the debate and it looks like he will have another one.

Steve Williams Monday, October 3rd 2016 at 8:19PM

Don't worry Ron, I'll look into it. I haven't seen or heard anything but Siebra's post so far.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Monday, October 3rd 2016 at 8:49PM

Don't worry, he is. Now do you want to get back on topic?

Steve Williams Monday, October 3rd 2016 at 11:01PM

So where's your post on Cuba?

Steve Williams Monday, October 3rd 2016 at 11:45PM

I don't see any issue.

Though it has long been illegal for corporations to spend money in Cuba without proper authorization, there is no chance that Trump, the company or any of its executives will be prosecuted for wrongdoing. The statute of limitations ran out long ago, and legal analysts say OFAC’s enforcement division is understaffed, so the chances for an investigation were slim even at the time.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Tuesday, October 4th 2016 at 12:05AM

No!!! but his supporters and NON-supporters know that Donald LIED about doing business during the CUBAN embargo and I am sure that they did not know that about him until now...

Steve Williams Tuesday, October 4th 2016 at 8:15AM

The UN General Assembly has, since 1992, passed a resolution every year condemning the ongoing impact of the embargo and declaring it to be in violation of the Charter of the United Nations and international law. In 2014, out of the 193-nation assembly, 188 countries voted for the nonbinding resolution, the United States and Israel voted against and the Pacific island nations Palau, Marshall Islands and Micronesia abstained.[5][17] Human rights groups including Amnesty International,[5] Human Rights Watch,[18] and the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights[19] have also been critical of the embargo. Critics of the embargo say that the embargo laws are too harsh, citing the fact that violations can result in 10 years in prison.

It's a very long article but I didn't see much in the way of details. An anonymous former Trump executive said such and such and that was about it.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Wednesday, October 5th 2016 at 9:49AM

In short, Trump wanted to be the first American to corner the market in Cuba and that report told him, NO!
