Trump accuses ‘SNL’ of ‘hit job,’ media of ‘rigging election’
Donald Trump’s tumultuous week was skewered mercilessly on this weekend’s “Saturday Night Live” on NBC. And the Republican nominee took to Twitter on Sunday morning to offer his review.
“Watched Saturday Night Live hit job on me,” Trump tweeted. “Time to retire the boring and unfunny show. Alec Baldwin portrayal stinks. Media rigging election!”
During the opening sketch, Baldwin’s Trump vows to do three things in the town hall forum against Hillary Clinton (played by Kate McKinnon), who was introduced as “President Hillary Clinton.”
“I’m going to huff, I’m going to puff, and I’m going to blow this whole thing,” he says.
