Is that same old story you posted before Ron?

It is. What's up with that?

Published on May 2, 2017A program championed by Michelle Obama called “Let Girls Learn” has effectively been cancelled by the Trump administration. The program was an inter-governmental cooperative that helped under-privileged women and girls get the education that they needed to remain competitive in the world. Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins discusses this.

The White House's "Let Girls Learn" program, an initiative spearheaded by former first lady Michelle Obama, will continue, according to the Trump administration, CBS News' Kylie Atwood reports.

"There have been no changes to the Let Girls Learn program," a USAID official told Atwood. "The Administration supports policies and programs to empower adolescent girls, including efforts to educate them through the completion of secondary school."

I found the answer to my question.

Shortly after social media outrage began to spring up, the White House disputed the report that the initiative was being terminated. “There have been no changes to the program,” Kelly Love, a White House spokeswoman, told CNN.

But, the site notes, “the White House did not say whether Let Girls Learn would be maintained in the future as a standalone program — and they also did not directly address the memo or why it had been sent.”

This is the power of the press and the power of free speech here at work.

This is the power of the press and the power of free speech here at work. If it wasn't for the work of the free speech, the American people would not know about this paragraph:

I'm sure someone will let us know if it's not.
