369th Harlem Hellfighters

The Armory on 142nd Street and 5th Ave, was home to the 369th Army Infantry Regiment, known as the Harlem Hellfighters. They were awarded the Croix de Guerre for Bravery for distinguished fighting with the French in World War I.
