"It's always a lot of fun when you win". Now that's what I call a soundbite.

OH REALLY!!! If you think he is a winner, then what about those 13 million American people that will lose there Health Care, will you speak to that?

Steve Williams Thursday, December 21st 2017 at 9:26AM

13 million people won't "lose" their health care.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Thursday, December 21st 2017 at 10:03AM

Yes they will because this Tax Bill takes the funding away. We call that plan "TRUMPCARE."

Your data is incorrect.

What do you think that Trump won’t sign The bill into the new year?

Them With a group of Republicans have LIED to the people of America again. Sorry!!!!

Steve Williams Thursday, December 21st 2017 at 3:13PM

Please speak clearly. Do you mean "until" the new year? And what is "Them With a group of Republicans"?

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Thursday, December 21st 2017 at 4:59PM

Please forgive me. Why do you think that Trump will not sign this new tax bill until the new year?

Steve Williams Thursday, December 21st 2017 at 5:18PM

They word is he'll sign it tomorrow.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Thursday, December 21st 2017 at 5:58PM

I doubt will sign anything tomorrow and here's why, Trump has not signed that Tax Bill yet.

Gary Cohn of the White House National Economic Council told Fox News that the tax bill needs a waiver because of the deficits it contains:

If we can get 'pay-go' waived in the CR, we will sign the tax bill this year. The president would like to sign the tax bill.

The Atlantic explains that the delay puts off a yearly waiver to stop cuts to programs:

Under a 2010 “pay-as-you-go” law requiring Congress to offset any new spending or lower taxes, the $1.5 trillion bill would trigger automatic cuts to Medicare and other programs — across-the-board reductions that Republicans don’t want to be responsible for letting take effect. By waiting until the calendar turns to 2018 to formally enact the tax bill, Trump would push the automatic spending cuts to 2019 and buy Congress another year to waive them.

by law, the president has 10 days to sign the bill.

Steve Williams Thursday, December 21st 2017 at 6:04PM

Right. The expectation is we'll get the waiver.

Steve Williams Thursday, December 21st 2017 at 7:16PM

The CR has passed both chambers. Happy solstice.
