Did you see what The Trump administration, for the reason for asking that citizenship question?

It's a simple question. If people are afraid to answer maybe that tells us something.

Voting Rights Act of 1965

An act to enforce the fifteenth amendment of the Constitution of the United States, and for other purposes.

Fifteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution

Section 1. The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of race, color, or previous condition of servitude.

Section 2. The Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.[1]

The Census citizen question is necessary in order to know how many, who and where are the citizens whose voting rights are guaranteed and protected.

The Voters Rights Act, you got to be kidding me RIGHT!!!! You don't have to LIE to me about this. Eric Holder said: "He’ll Sue to Block Citizenship Question on Census" --- The New York Times

Vote dilution is a recognized abridgment of citizen voting rights. Why do you NEVER study your subject Ron?

For the first time in 70 years Steve, Americans will be asked to report their citizenship status when they fill out their 2020 Census forms, a change that has angered immigrant advocates who fear it will harm minority representation.

Steve Williams Monday, April 2nd 2018 at 3:16PM

70 years ago has nothing to do with America in 2020, when we have a political party that encourages illegal immigrants, non-citizens, to be in America and dilute the votes of citizens. Whine all you want Ron, the citizen question will be included in the census.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Monday, April 2nd 2018 at 7:31PM

Steve, you missed the point altogether. My point has been and always will be, If this line is added to The Census, don't LIE to me, as your reason. I don't believe that they are interested in protect The Voters Rights Act, at all.

Steve Williams Monday, April 2nd 2018 at 7:42PM

You're missing the point Ron. I believe the citizen question is needed to protect the 15th Amendment, to protect the voting rights of American CITIZENS.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Monday, April 2nd 2018 at 8:13PM

CITIZENS of The United States of America RIGHT TO VOTE is already protected by that very same 15th Amendment and not by a question of citizenship on a Census.

That question is not protecting our right to vote. WAKE UP MAN!!!! I Know you can see that LIE!!!

Steve Williams Monday, April 2nd 2018 at 8:33PM

You can't protect citizens unless you know who they are. Duh.
