Now from what I can see Steve, the critics, both Republican and The Democrats were quick to suggest the context around the president's quote indicates he said what he meant the first time. Before he used the word, Trump said he had heard from his director of national intelligence, Dan Coats, that Russia meddled in the 2016 election but that he had also heard a strong denial from Putin.

Trump said at the press conference said: Putin "just said it’s not Russia,"

Now here's what makes me believe Trump meant what he said the first time was this. Here check this one out, "So I have great confidence in my intelligence people," Trump said, "but I will tell you that President Putin was extremely strong and powerful in his denial today." That was Trump throwing his own intelligent agencies under the BUS, for what Putin said.

Do you know that Trump knew about the attacks on this country since he was a candidate Trump, did you know that Steve? It looks like to me Trump is defending Putin because if he wasn't, this conference would have taken a different course and tone, altogether, that you can bet on.



Now Steve we both saw in resent reports that Reporters asked Trump specifically whether he holds Russia accountable for troubled relations between the two countries, prompting the president to launch into a discussion about the Mueller probe and denying collusion with Moscow.

Trump did not mention any thing about the 2014 annexation of Crimea by Russia, British allegations Russia poisoned a former Soviet spy on its soil, Russia's involvement in election influence campaigns in other countries or questions about the Russian role in the downing of Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 in 2014.

None of that, was talked about in that side by side press brief with Putin, none of that actions by Putin was discussed, I wonder WHY?

Let us start with the ability to have a secure free election in this country. A treat to our form of government. Steve, ask yourself this question, Why would Russia do this?

But even short of that, Putin thinks that the US is responsible for political turbulence in his region, namely the fall of pro-Russian governments in Ukraine, and revolutions in Georgia and Kyrgyzstan.

While Russia has had its setbacks, Putin still regards his country as a rightful geopolitical power, and is resentful that the US has carried out an aggressive foreign policy over the last decade and a half—including the invasion of Iraq and the support of rebels in Syria—without consulting him. He thinks that the West is ultimately hypocritical, and presumes that other countries are guilty of the same corruption, vote-rigging, and official lying as riddles Russian officialdom. Hence, Putin is out for revenge. He wants to shake the political systems across the West, and of NATO.

Putin what's his revenge on the United States of America because he feels we are in his way with those imposed tariffs and he needs people like you and the republicans to lift that foot off his neck, which you are willing to do as one who can't see or one that don't want to acknowledge his intent.

Again Ron, you've told me nothing about any threat that Putin poses to me.

If you are an American, the ability to have a secure free election in this country should pose a very deep threat to you, if you are American, Steve, are you a citizen of The United States of America?
