Right-Wing Media Launches Smear Campaign Against Kavanaugh

Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Sen. Chuck Grassley has scheduled a new hearing on Trump’s Supreme Court nominee, Brett Kavanaugh, after Professor Christine Blasey Ford came forward with allegations of s*xual assault. However, people with large megaphones in right-wing media have rushed to impugn her character. The New York Times’ Michelle Goldberg tells Ari Melber that Senate Republicans are “trying to orchestrate” a way they can “vote for Kavanaugh without political repercussions”.

I agree with Candace Owens 100 percent.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Wednesday, September 19th 2018 at 10:24AM

You agree with Candace Owens 100 percent about what Steve?

Steve Williams Wednesday, September 19th 2018 at 11:25AM

What she said is right here in the video. Have you seen this video report Ron?

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Wednesday, September 19th 2018 at 11:46AM

Yes I have Steve, have you? Now what are you talking about? What do you agree with?

Steve Williams Wednesday, September 19th 2018 at 3:49PM

She's only shown for less than 20 seconds Ron, starting a little after 1:10. She's only shown saying one thing, "IT'S THE MOST DISGUSTING THING", sounding like she wants to vomit. I AGREE ONE HUNDRED PERCENT!!! Get it?

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Wednesday, September 19th 2018 at 5:58PM

Let me see if I can hear what she is saying: And this is, by the way is the most disgusting thing that they have done yet. Any person that actually supports S exual Assault Victims should be speaking out against this because this is absolutely, as I said before, disgusting, Despicable Behavior. Now that is not just coming from the Left. Why are the Republican's rushing this process now? I say let Professor Christine Blasey Ford after the investigation of both partied be heard, we got time.

What do they have to lose?

I agree, " let Professor Christine Blasey Ford after the investigation of both partied be heard"

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Thursday, September 20th 2018 at 5:30PM

You said this: I agree, " let Professor Christine Blasey Ford after the investigation of both partied be heard"

Are you saying: Let Professor Christine Blasey Ford, be heard after the investigation by the FBI of both partied be heard."

Steve Williams Thursday, September 20th 2018 at 8:50PM

Dr. Ford will be heard. That's the Senate's job.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Thursday, September 20th 2018 at 9:05PM

Steve, Are you saying: Let Professor Christine Blasey Ford, be heard after the investigation by the FBI of both partied to be heard under oath?

"

Steve Williams Friday, September 21st 2018 at 1:53AM

I didn't say that Ron.

I agree, " let Professor Christine Blasey Ford after the investigation of both partied be heard"

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Friday, September 21st 2018 at 2:54AM

Who is going to do the investigation?

Steve Williams Friday, September 21st 2018 at 7:58AM

The Senate has completed 4 days of exhaustive testimony, after months of investigation in preparation for the testimony. The Constitution says the Senate has the responsibility to advise and consent. The FBI does not. Ford has been invited to testify, the FBI has no role in that testimony. Let Ford make her case if she has one, but she does not get to dictate terms and conditions to the Senate how they fulfill their Constitutional duty.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Friday, September 21st 2018 at 9:35AM

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has the power to investgate by hearing testimony like was done in the Clarence Thomas case so, there is presidency for this FBI request.

As far as what The Constitution says may not have the power to advise and consent maybe true but The Constitution give the power for the FBI to begin to seek the truth, through investigations, that is their mandate, that is their purpose under The Constitution.

What is the rush, this seat was held open for more then over a year now by the republicans, what is the rush now?

Steve Williams Friday, September 21st 2018 at 9:49AM

That's a poor excuse to delay a confirmation. Feinstein sat on this information throughout both private and public testimony, ostensibly to protect Ford's privacy. Then she violated that privacy and now the Democrats show their true motivation and scream "what's the rush?" Nobody believes you Ron.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Friday, September 21st 2018 at 10:04AM

Nobody believes you Ron. Amid allegations of s*xual assault against Kavanaugh, those surveyed say by 40 percent to 31 percent that the Senate shouldn't vote to approve his nomination, the first time a plurality of Americans have opposed a Supreme Court nominee since polling on the issue began.

Somebody is listening more Americans wants to get to the truth.

Steve Williams Friday, September 21st 2018 at 11:23AM

More Americans are dupes Ron. We elected this President 2 years ago. In less than 2 months we'll get to vote again. That is the true voice of Americans, and the electorate will demonstate our disgust with this unending opposition and unfounded allegations.
