This is the Committee sending a letter to BARR. "The committee is prepared to make every realistic effort to reach an accommodation with The department , But if the Department persists in its baseless refused to comply with a validly issued subpoena the committee will move to contempt proceedings and seek further legal recourse."

Why does "the committee" think it has the right to see the Mueller report when they have no such right at all Ron?

Very good question Steve and let me stop that LIE to told about the power of congress and it’s committees.

Congressional oversight is oversight by the United States Congress over the Executive Branch, including the numerous U.S. federal agencies. Congressional oversight includes the review, monitoring, and supervision of federal agencies, programs, activities, and policy implementation.[1] Congress exercises this power largely through its congressional committee system. Oversight also occurs in a wide variety of congressional activities and contexts. These include authorization, appropriations, investigative, and legislative hearings by standing committees; specialized investigations by select committees; and reviews and studies by congressional support agencies and staff.

Congress’s oversight authority derives from its “implied” powers in the Constitution, public laws, and House and Senate rules. It is an integral part of the American system of checks and balances.

Ron, there is a law governing the Special Counsel. It says the Special Counsel will submit a confidential report to the AG. Congress doesn't have the right to see Mueller's report at all. Nadler will NEVER get the unredacted report.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Monday, May 6th 2019 at 3:17PM

WHY do you think that Steve? Do you actually think that BARR is going to break the law Steve?

Steve Williams Monday, May 6th 2019 at 4:06PM

Barr is not going to release an unredacted report or the underlying evidence. The courts will decide the legality and that will take a LONG time Ron.

Do you actually think that BARR is going to break the law Steve?

Steve Williams Monday, May 6th 2019 at 7:58PM

Do you think that Barr is breaking the law Ron? I don't, because it's long past time the Democrats let their fantasy go.
