Rep. Ilhan Omar joins AM JOY discussing America’s immigration crisis and the Democrats’ split over the emergency border bill, telling Joy Reid, ‘To me it is really about people who are thinking, what is politically expedient.’

$4.6 billion. It's about ****ing time.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Tuesday, July 2nd 2019 at 8:38PM

You can get a good suite at Trump Towers Chicago or New York, with a view, for that kind of money and you won't have standing room only. I wonder who is making the profit, can you answer that STEVEN?

Steve Williams Tuesday, July 2nd 2019 at 9:04PM

It just goes to show, we should have built the wall.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Tuesday, July 2nd 2019 at 9:17PM

I wonder who is making the profit, can you answer that STEVEN?

Steve Williams Tuesday, July 2nd 2019 at 9:20PM

I'm sure you know Ron. I don't care.

Steve Williams Tuesday, July 2nd 2019 at 9:23PM

Ron, do you think someone, anyone, will ever DEFINE "comprehensive immigration reform"?

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Tuesday, July 2nd 2019 at 9:45PM

Because you know there is corruption there don't you?

Steve Williams Wednesday, July 3rd 2019 at 12:21AM

No Ron, that's not the reason at all.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Wednesday, July 3rd 2019 at 7:36AM

Then what is your reason Steven?

Steve Williams Wednesday, July 3rd 2019 at 8:09AM

Comprehensive Immigration Reform is a political phrase that will never be done because the Democrats want to throw the floodgates wide open because it's part of their plan to destroy America. That's why Ronaldo.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Wednesday, July 3rd 2019 at 8:39AM

Hey Steven, do these words mean anything to you: "“Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free.” or was those words only meant for the white European escaping death in there own country at that time?

Just what I thought, you can't answer that question about these words: "“Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free.” or was those words only meant for the white European escaping death in there own country at that time?

Now you want to run to change the subject, instead of answering my question, WOW!!!!

Steve Williams Wednesday, July 3rd 2019 at 9:57AM

There are prescribed ways to enter our country legally Ron and none of them deny poor dirty masses or non-Europeans.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Wednesday, July 3rd 2019 at 3:01PM

I know, and you and Trump have put the brown people who escape certain death from their countries in the concentration camps in this country for Profit, who Turn themselves in legally. WOW!!!

Steve Williams Wednesday, July 3rd 2019 at 5:26PM

Did you hear Ron, the $4.6 Billion that was finally approved by Congress will only last for 3 months? Then what?

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Thursday, July 4th 2019 at 9:24AM

By that time, those healthy migrants should have been set free long before that money runs out, just like those white Europeans escaping death in there own country at that time.

Hey Steven, do these words mean anything to you: "“Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free.” or was those words only meant for the white European escaping death in there own country at that time?

I see that you never did answer that question, WHY?

Steve Williams Friday, July 5th 2019 at 12:23AM

I never liked those words Ron. Why did France give us Lady Liberty? What did it commemorate?

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Friday, July 5th 2019 at 7:25PM

I did not ask you if you like those words STEVEN. I asked you Steven, do these words mean anything to you: "“Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free.” or was those words only meant for the white European escaping death in there own country at that time?

Steve Williams Friday, July 5th 2019 at 11:59PM

You asked who Ron?

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Saturday, July 6th 2019 at 9:26AM

You Steve Williams and when I want to get your attention and get formal with you, I call you STEVEN.

Again: do these words mean anything to you: "“Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free.” or was those words only meant for the white European escaping death in there own country at that time?

Steve Williams Saturday, July 6th 2019 at 10:42AM

If you want to be formal Ron, my name is Stephen. At the feet of Liberty Enlightening the World are broken shackles and chains. That's because she was given in commemoration of the abolition of slavery in the United States, NOT in commemoration of the immigration of Europeans OR Central Americans into the United States.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Saturday, July 6th 2019 at 1:33PM

I asked you Stephen more then a few times: "Do these words mean anything to "YOU?": "“Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free.” Since you don't like these words.

Steve Williams Saturday, July 6th 2019 at 5:50PM

Ron, those words have a negative meaning to me:

Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,
With conquering limbs astride from land to land;
Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand
A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame
Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name
Mother of exiles. From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.

"Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!" cries she
With silent lips. "Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Saturday, July 6th 2019 at 6:37PM

How so Steve?

Steve Williams Saturday, July 6th 2019 at 7:17PM

To start with Ron, it's not true "her name [is] Mother of exiles." Her name is "Liberty Enlightening the World."

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Sunday, July 7th 2019 at 9:08AM

Most commonly known as "The Statue of Liberty." What is wrong with that?

Steve Williams Sunday, July 7th 2019 at 12:15PM

The "Statue of Liberty" is accurate Ron, but it still commemorates the abolition of slavery, not receiving EXILES.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Monday, July 8th 2019 at 1:02PM

The "Statue of Liberty" is talking about receiving The Exiles right here in these words.

Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,
With conquering limbs astride from land to land;
Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand
A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame
Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name
Mother of exiles. From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.

NOTICE STEVE: "her name Mother of exiles," which she is giving the poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, to this country. You do see those words don't you?

"Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!" cries she
With silent lips. "Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

Steve Williams Monday, July 8th 2019 at 9:07PM

Learn your history Ron. Those words are not original.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Tuesday, July 9th 2019 at 10:41AM

Then since you know your history, then bring fourth the original words, in your next reply.

Steve Williams Tuesday, July 9th 2019 at 3:20PM

Just read the Wikipedia article Ron, that's all I did.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Tuesday, July 9th 2019 at 3:54PM

So, you can’t back up your words. WOW!!!

Steve Williams Tuesday, July 9th 2019 at 7:12PM

Don't be lazy Ron. I'm not going to copy all that when you can go there to read it yourself.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Statue_of_...

Steve Williams Tuesday, July 9th 2019 at 7:18PM

In 1903, a bronze tablet that bears the text of Emma Lazarus's sonnet, "The New Colossus" (1883), was presented by friends of the poet. Until the 1986 renovation, it was mounted inside the pedestal; today it resides in the Statue of Liberty Museum, in the base.[177]

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Wednesday, July 10th 2019 at 8:58AM

MY REQUEST: Then since you know your history, then bring fourth the original words, in your next reply.

YOUR REPLY: Just read the Wikipedia article Ron, that's all I did.

MY REPLY: So, you can’t back up your words. WOW!!!

YOUR REPLY" Don't be lazy Ron. I'm not going to copy all that when you can go there to read it yourself.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Statue_of_...

MY REPLY: The original will do just fine since you say these words are not the original words on a plaque at The Plaque at The Statue of Liberty.

Where are the original words Steve?

The New Colossus
Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,
With conquering limbs astride from land to land;
Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand
A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame
Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name
Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand

“Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!” cries she
With silent lips. “Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”

Steve Williams Wednesday, July 10th 2019 at 11:15AM

What I said Ron is "Those words are not original." I proved that by showing they were not added to the statue until 1903.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Wednesday, July 10th 2019 at 8:15PM

Then what was the original words Steve?

Steve Williams Wednesday, July 10th 2019 at 9:20PM

There is a list near the end of the Wikipedia entry.

Steve Williams Wednesday, July 10th 2019 at 9:29PM

The Statue of Liberty is a figure of Libertas, a robed Roman liberty goddess. She holds a torch above her head with her right hand, and in her left hand carries a tabula ansata inscribed in Roman numerals with "JULY IV MDCCLXXVI" (July 4, 1776), the date of the U.S. Declaration of Independence. A broken shackle and chain lay at her feet as she walks forward, commemorating the recent national abolition of slavery.[7]

There are several plaques and dedicatory tablets on or near the Statue of Liberty.

A plaque on the copper just under the figure in front declares that it is a colossal statue representing Liberty, designed by Bartholdi and built by the Paris firm of Gaget, Gauthier et Cie (Cie is the French abbreviation analogous to Co.). [177]
A presentation tablet, also bearing Bartholdi's name, declares the statue is a gift from the people of the Republic of France that honors "the Alliance of the two Nations in achieving the Independence of the United States of America and attests their abiding friendship."[177]
A tablet placed by the American Committee commemorates the fundraising done to build the pedestal.[177]
The cornerstone bears a plaque placed by the Freemasons.[177]
In 1903, a bronze tablet that bears the text of Emma Lazarus's sonnet, "The New Colossus" (1883), was presented by friends of the poet. Until the 1986 renovation, it was mounted inside the pedestal; today it resides in the Statue of Liberty Museum, in the base.[177]
"The New Colossus" tablet is accompanied by a tablet given by the Emma Lazarus Commemorative Committee in 1977, celebrating the poet's life.[177]

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Thursday, July 11th 2019 at 11:43PM

You still have not pointed out this point: Then what was the original words Steve?

Steve Williams Thursday, July 11th 2019 at 11:48PM

There were NO words originally.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Friday, July 12th 2019 at 12:00AM

So, are you saying that these words are not apart of The Statue of Liberty?

The New Colossus

Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,
With conquering limbs astride from land to land;
Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand
A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame
Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name
Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.
“Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!” cries she
With silent lips. “Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”

Steve Williams Friday, July 12th 2019 at 8:32AM

It's simple Ron, don't be stupid. Those words weren't ADDED to the statue until 1903. The weren't original to the statue or more importantly, its purpose. And no matter what, I think those words are reprehensible, sappy, early American socialist CRAP.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Friday, July 12th 2019 at 11:28PM

YOUR WOPRDS: I think those words are reprehensible, sappy, early American socialist CRAP.

MY REPLY: Why do you think that Steve?

Steve Williams Friday, July 12th 2019 at 11:41PM

Because Ron, I'm a student of history. That generation that desecrated Liberty Enlightening the Word, is the same one that gave us the Great War.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Saturday, July 13th 2019 at 3:31PM

What are you talking, what generation and that great war are you talking about?

?

Steve Williams Sunday, July 14th 2019 at 1:01AM

World War I, also known as the First World War, the Great War, or the War to End All Wars, was a global war originating in Europe that lasted from 28 July 1914 to 11 November 1918.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Sunday, July 14th 2019 at 3:04PM

The poem on Statue of Liberty was put on in 1903 and had nothing to do with the First World War, the Great War, or the War to End All Wars, was a global war originating in Europe that lasted from 28 July 1914 to 11 November 1918.

You can't do better then that? WOW!!!

Steve Williams Monday, July 15th 2019 at 4:09PM

What I said Ron is the same generation that added that poem is the generation that gave us WWI.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Monday, July 15th 2019 at 10:28PM

No!!! Imperialism, Mutual Defense Alliances, Militarism, Nationalism and The Immediate Cause of WW1 was Assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand.

Much of the origin of the war was based on the desire of the Slavic peoples in Bosnia and Herzegovina to no longer be part of Austria-Hungary but instead be part of Serbia.

Steve, the Slavic peoples or that generation did not give the U.S. the Statue of Liberty or the words of that poem.

Wow!!!

Steve Williams Tuesday, July 16th 2019 at 1:17AM

How many years in a generation Ron? And second, you obviously haven't studied early 20th century history.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Wednesday, July 17th 2019 at 8:08AM

What was the cause of WW1 Steve if those four things was not the cause?

Steve Williams Wednesday, July 17th 2019 at 11:53PM

There were many causes Ron. Do you think the Great White Fleet might have been one?

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Thursday, July 18th 2019 at 9:32AM

NO!!! Imperialism, Mutual Defense Alliances, Militarism, Nationalism and The Immediate Cause of WW1 was Assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, these four reason was the cause for WWI.

Steve Williams Thursday, July 18th 2019 at 8:22PM

Here Ron, read up.

https://www.globalsecurity.org/military/ag...

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Friday, July 19th 2019 at 4:50PM

That report has nothing said about Mutual Defense Alliances, Militarism, Nationalism or The Immediate Cause of WW1 was Assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, why?

Steve Williams Friday, July 19th 2019 at 6:53PM

The report is about militarism, nationalism, and alliances, leading to the first world war.

The acceptance by Japan and the world of the fact that the fleet actually was to be moved, and its successful voyage, entirely changed the situation. Japanese statesmen believed that the American fleet's visit to the Pacific marked the beginning of a new era in Asiatic affairs. They would have preferred for the whole American navy to stay in the Atlantic, but they accepted the new condition with the best grace possible. They realized that when the American fleet rounded the Horn it completely altered the balance of power in the East.

On 22 February 1909 - Washington's Birthday - the Great White Fleet steamed home at last, to be welcomed at Hampton Roads by T. R. in the presidential yacht.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Friday, July 19th 2019 at 9:33PM

Do you really think that moving A few naval ships around in the pacific ocean was the main caused World War I in Austria-Hungary?

Steve Williams Saturday, July 20th 2019 at 8:27AM

I didn't say what was the main cause of WWI Ron. The growth of the United States Navy under President Theodore Roosevelt was certainly a contributing tactor.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Saturday, July 20th 2019 at 1:18PM

You don't think that The Immediate Cause of WW1 was Assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand?

Steve Williams Saturday, July 20th 2019 at 6:42PM

According to your limited understanding of CAUSE, you could say that Ron.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Saturday, July 20th 2019 at 7:49PM

My understanding of The Immediate Cause of WW1 was Assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, is the FACTS and nothing but the FACTS according to history and nothing I pulled out of my back side, like you do Steve..

So, that BULL💩 of yours, saying: That generation that desecrated Liberty Enlightening the Word, is the same one that gave us the Great War was Germany and Austria-Hungary is just that your BULL💩 Steve.

Steve Williams Sunday, July 21st 2019 at 3:23AM

The immediate cause of WWI were the military alliances of the times and your 1903 poem is still Victorian nonsense.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Sunday, July 21st 2019 at 7:31PM

LOL, I see that you have switched the meaning from the same generation that added that poem is the generation that gave us WWI to now that 1903 poem is still Victorian nonsense.

We are still talking about The Statue of Liberty and not some Great White Fleet. WOW!!!! LOL!!!!

Run Steve Run...

Steve Williams Monday, July 22nd 2019 at 5:39AM

I haven't switched anything Ron. The poem was placed by the same generation that started WWI and the poem is Victorian sentimental nonsense.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Monday, July 22nd 2019 at 9:40AM

Then who's people did that Great White Fleet belong to?

Steve Williams Monday, July 22nd 2019 at 10:51AM

The American people, of course Ron.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Monday, July 22nd 2019 at 4:35PM

We both know that the First World War was not Started by The America people.

By the way Steve, generations don’t start wars.

Steve Williams Tuesday, July 23rd 2019 at 10:06AM

Did the American people support entering WWI Ron?

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Tuesday, July 23rd 2019 at 6:20PM

The support of the WWI is NOT the issue of this blog, Steve but Rep. Ilhan Omar On Border Crisis: Our Values Are Suffering is the subject here.

Steve Williams Tuesday, July 23rd 2019 at 6:26PM

I thought you must have forgotten all about it Ron. You never even once asked me if I'd seen the video.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Tuesday, July 23rd 2019 at 7:53PM

Well have you?

Steve Williams Tuesday, July 23rd 2019 at 8:02PM

I have seen it Ron. I had unfortunately missed it that Sunday because her show overlaps the MSM Sunday shows here.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Tuesday, July 23rd 2019 at 10:23PM

Did you see this report at the top of this blog, Steve?

Steve Williams Tuesday, July 23rd 2019 at 10:36PM

"I have seen it Ron."

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Wednesday, July 24th 2019 at 9:15AM

Do you agree with Mark Morgan, that he can tell a dangerous child just by looking at him?

Steve Williams Wednesday, July 24th 2019 at 5:38PM

I'll review the original recording and get back to you Ron.

Steve Williams Wednesday, July 24th 2019 at 7:30PM

I agree with Mark Morgan.

https://video.foxnews.com/v/5989437509001/...

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Wednesday, July 24th 2019 at 8:45PM

Why do you agree with Mark Morgan?

Steve Williams Wednesday, July 24th 2019 at 11:55PM

Because of his extensive experience with MS13.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Thursday, July 25th 2019 at 11:15AM

So you believe that Mark Morgan can look at a child and tell you that, that child was be a member of MS13, just by looking at that Child? That's BULL💩 and you know it.

Brother's and Sister's meet Steve Williams.

Steve Williams Thursday, July 25th 2019 at 12:20PM

Did you hear what Mark Morgan said earlier in the video Ron?

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Thursday, July 25th 2019 at 1:25PM

That hate comment of Mark Morgan, Steve?

Steve Williams Thursday, July 25th 2019 at 3:55PM

At the video link I posted Ron, where he describes his experience. Did you see it?

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Thursday, July 25th 2019 at 5:10PM

Yes I did, and I am glad to learn that Trump got rid of that person too.

Steve Williams Thursday, July 25th 2019 at 5:52PM

Mark Morgan is in the Administration now Ron.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Thursday, July 25th 2019 at 7:45PM

Not according to that link you sent me too. Did you review and pay attention for understanding of the material on that link Steve? https://video.foxnews.com/v/5989437509001/...

You can take that up propaganda with FOX NEWS.
