Now we will have a fair trial.
It is already on a BAD start.
Why do you think so Ron?
How is this a fair trial when Lindsey Graham and Mitch McConnell Want to Kill the Senate Impeachment Trial As Quickly As Possible.
The Senate impeachment trial of President Donald Trump won't begin until January at the earliest, but already, a few high-profile Republicans in the upper chamber are announcing their intent to turn the proceedings into a brief and embarrassing farce. "I am clearly made up [in] my mind," South Carolina senator Lindsey Graham told Face the Nation on Sunday. The president stands accused of attempting to extort a foreign government for political favors, and testimony indicates that multiple Cabinet-level officials may have been aware of the scheme. Graham, though, says he doesn't need to hear from them—or from any witnesses, actually—in order to render a not-guilty verdict. "I'm not trying to hide the fact that I have disdain for the accusations in the process," he said. "I think what's best for the country is to get this thing over with."
Steve, I knew this would happen for quite sometime now.
You're not thinking about what the President wants Ron. Mitch said he would follow Trump's lead. The President is innocent and he will milk the trial for all it's worth.
YES, Trump has been MILKING it for all it's WORTH and that is call "Obstruction of Congress" which is one of the counts of Trump's Impeachment.
