She can hold them forever Ron, Pelosi has no say over the Senate. Read the rules.

Since I have been away from my desk all day and not been following The Breaking News, have Moscow Mitch or The Secretary of the Senate shall immediately inform the House of Representatives that the Senate is ready to receive the managers for the purpose of exhibiting such articles of impeachment, agreeably to such notice, YET?

After taking your suggestion to read RULES OF PROCEDURE AND PRACTICE IN THE SENATE WHEN SITTING ON IMPEACHMENT TRIALS, I found this ruling Steve, here's what I found in the very first page of the report.

Here's that ruling:

1. Whensoever the Senate shall receive notice from the House of Representatives that managers are appointed on their part to conduct an impeachment against any person and are directed to carry articles of impeachment to the Senate, the Secretary of the Senate shall immediately inform the House of Representatives that the Senate is ready to receive the managers for the purpose of exhibiting such articles of impeachment, agreeably to such notice.

Steve, quick question: Did the Secretary of the Senate immediately inform the House of Representatives that the Senate is ready to receive the managers for the purpose of exhibiting such articles of impeachment, agreeably to such notice YET?

Where in these rules, that states that Pelosi can hold up The House Impeachment of Donald J. Trump for ever in this document? https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/SMAN-1...

Ron, let's take your first question. Mitch is ready to receive the managers whenever Nervous Nancy appoints them.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Saturday, December 21st 2019 at 6:27PM

OK!!! I thought I may have missed some Breaking NEWS.

Did Moscow Mitch comment that he's working with the White House on impeachment, as he serve as an impartial juror in an upcoming Senate trial?

McConnell gained national attention for his opposition to President Barack Obama's legislative ambitions, helping to turn the tide against Democratic control of Congress. Named Senate majority leader in 2014, he infamously refused to allow Senate hearings for a new Supreme Court nominee in 2016 following the death of Justice Antonin Scalia.

Now this man is crying about the speed of a trial!!! (LOL)

Steve Williams Saturday, December 21st 2019 at 10:35PM

Mitch said "it's fine with me" if Nancy never brings the Articles of Impeachment. The ball is in Nancy's court Ron.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Sunday, December 22nd 2019 at 7:58AM

Pelosi and Senator Schumer should negotiate the best deal they can get from Moscow Mitch and trust that some vestigial residue of bipartisanship still lingers in a few Republican senators, who might force McConnell to conduct a fair trial.

Steve, A FAIR TRIAL is all I want for President Donald J. Trump and that is the bottom-line.

Was the impeachment trial of Clinton a fair trial Ron?

The Twist No One Saw Coming: Pelosi May Withhold Impeachment Articles

SUBJECT

Bought time someone thought CONSTITUTIONALLY...….

1. Mitch NEVER has

2. Clinton Never was

3. trump$ette cannot or refuses to READ

4. Go....GIRL go.....California Style.....Let the men have it when they BEG!

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Sunday, December 22nd 2019 at 3:17PM

Yes! Clinton did lie to congress about having consensual s*x with a in-turn. "I didn't have s*x with that woman."

What will we remember about Trump's Impeachment? "Putin Told So."

Steve Williams Sunday, December 22nd 2019 at 8:31PM

There were no witnesses at Clinton's trial and no reason to have witnesses at Trump's trial.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Sunday, December 22nd 2019 at 11:26PM

Having consensual s*x with a in-turn, is one thing but asking a foreign government to dig up dirt on a America citizen for personal gain is another and then LIE about, is a another thing.

Both impeachments are bogus Ron. That's why we should amend the Constitution to remove the clauses on impeachment.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Monday, December 23rd 2019 at 9:46AM

Until that happens, The Constitution in it's present form, it the Law of The Land and the impeachment clause is too Steve.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Monday, December 23rd 2019 at 10:00AM

Until that happens, The Constitution in it's present form, is the Law of The Land and the impeachment clause is too Steve.

Donald J. Trump is "IMPEACHED!!!" What a mark on his record, while present of The United States of America, that will be his legacy for all times.

Steve Williams Monday, December 23rd 2019 at 8:19PM

Trump's not impeached Ron. Can you imagine how bizarre it will seem 100 years from now to people then that the House went right to the brink then turned their back on impeachment?

Steve Williams Monday, December 23rd 2019 at 8:21PM

I guess you could just call it mass political performance anxiety.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Monday, December 23rd 2019 at 8:41PM

Trump is Impeached and here the proof.

The impeachment of Donald Trump, the 45th president of the United States, occurred on December 18, 2019, when the House of Representatives approved articles of impeachment on charges of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.

Where was you when the Impeachment event in the house took place?

Steve Williams Monday, December 23rd 2019 at 9:01PM

So why is there not going to be a Senate trial Ron?

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Monday, December 23rd 2019 at 9:14PM

That is a good question Steve, you have to look at Moscow Mitch for that question because he don't want the truth out there about Trump's actions.
.

Steve Williams Tuesday, December 24th 2019 at 1:19AM

Or Mitch may proceed and appoint replacements instead of House managers Ron. He could do that with 51 votes.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Tuesday, December 24th 2019 at 9:45AM

Let the two parties come to an agreement. All I want is a fair trial in public for Trump, even after what Moscow Mitch said that HE admits he won't be an impartial juror and is predicting Trump will be acquitted in the Senate.

Steve Williams Tuesday, December 24th 2019 at 10:29AM

It will be a simple agreement. After milking it for all she can (not much) over the holidays, Nancy will send her managers and articles over to Mitch. Mitch will run the trial in the same way it was done for Clinton. It will be short and sweet Ron.

Steve Williams Tuesday, December 24th 2019 at 10:32AM

Short and sweet and exceedingly fair.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Tuesday, December 24th 2019 at 10:53AM

I see that you came back to add the key word: "FAIR!!!" by calling witnesses to the trial like acting Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney and producing those White House documents that was subpoenaed as part of the trial.

Steve Williams Tuesday, December 24th 2019 at 11:26AM

It will be fair even without witnesses and documents. There's no time for those Ron. The House managers will present their case, which you assure us is air tight. The President's counsel will present his defense, the Senate will vote, and we're off to the races.

Steve Williams Tuesday, December 24th 2019 at 11:29AM

You've managed to gum up the works for 3 years Ron and America is fed up with it.
