According to the Torah, Bible and the events of history the answer is an irrefutable YES.
The land called “Africa” today was named after an Italian explorer, Leo Scipio Africanus. That land’s original inhabitants are Hamites (Ham was one of the 3 sons of Noah). According to the Zondervan Compact Bible dictionary, Ham’s descendants were all of the dark people on that land mass EXCEPT the Negros. The question then remains, who are the Negros?
Negros were brought from that “African” land mass into global slavery (via being sold by the Hamites to the Arabs whose Biblical name is Ishmael/Palestine in the Bible and to the European man whose Biblical name is Edom/Grecian in the Bible - see Joel 3:4-6, Luke 21:24, and Deuteronomy 28:68 in the Bible). According to the Bible’s curses that would befall the Israelites and the Zonderan Bible Dictionary excluding the people who were labeled “Negroes” as “Hamites” (the original occupants of “Africa”), Negros were not really “Africans”. Much like the Israelites and Jesus who sojourned in North Africa (Egypt), Negros were sojourning in the land of Ham (“Africa”) for thousands of years until they were attacked by Hamites (the blacks/”Africans”) who sold them to Arabs (Ishmael) in the Subsaharan Slave trade and then to Europeans (Edomites) in the Translatlantic Slave Trade as bondsmen and bondswomen. No white people in history were sold by all three peoples - Hamites (Africans/Tyre, Zidon), Ishmaelites (Arab/Palestine), and then Edomites (Europeans/Grecians) - into every corner of the world. Only Negros were sold that way - Negroes who are, indeed, the children of Israel according to the Bible and the historical facts that back this up.
Israelites are black people (so-called “Negroes”) originally from Israel. The name “Israel” was a man (formerly named Jacob in the Bible) before it was used as a name for land (read Genesis 32:28). The land God gave to this black people was the land of Canaan which is located in North Africa.
Israelites, via different captivities and wars, were driven deeper into the land of Ham (which is today known as “Africa”). Yes, the Negroes in America are Israelites! Not only that, the Native people in America are also Israelites. They arrived in America before the Negroes so that the prophecy of Jeremiah 50:33 about the Northern Kingdom of Israel (aka Native Americans who were then known as “the Kingdom of Israel”) and the Southern Kingdom of Israel (aka today’s “Negroes”/American and Caribbean blacks who were then known as Judah) being oppressed together would come to pass and, according to Ezekiel 37:15–17, they would be awoken to understand that they are one nation and that they must obey the laws, statutes and commandments of the Bible and wait on the return of YAHSHUA to give to them (the 12 Tribes of Israel, God’s Holy people) salvation from their enemies [Luke 1:71].
