There is nothing Trump OR Pelosi needs to do about the votes. Each state appoints its allotment of electors and the rest is not any of your business. If a state wants to do mail in votes it's nobody's business but the state's. The national election results will be clear by inauguration day 2021. Trump won't try to steal the election, the Democrats are.
